* CreepyTwins: Christian and Christie have been invoking it ever since Mary accidentally gave them a copy of ''Film/TheShining'' instead of ''WesternAnimation/VeggieTales''. At the barbecue, Joseph even tells them to knock off the "creepy twins schtick". They speak lines reminiscent of creepy children from horror movies like "come play with us", have dull facial expressions, and say creepy things. In Craig's route, [[spoiler:they even try to cut open River's stuffed toy Arnold]]. When not purposefully invoking the trope, they're actually fairly normal kids; in Joseph's route, you can actually get them to giggle along with their father if you egg them on and then toss them an obscure reference about ''Literature/ChildrenOfTheCorn''. Christie is actually a very nice girl when she's not with her twin brother Christian, as you find out when she watches you and Joseph bake.

* FaceOfTheBand: Pablo is part of a music band called Vacant Veil, and he's the only member of that band the player character meets.

* SweaterGirl: Of a sort. Attention isn't drawn to her looks, especially since she isn't a date-able character, but she's a good-looking woman who's always wearing a fashionable, dark sweater.

* SuddenlyVoiced: Downplayed, in that she lets out some sounds and says some words through the entire game, but there's only one line that's fully voiced:

* MissingMom: [[spoiler:Her mother Rosa died when Carmensita was young, before the former's dream coffee shop was opened. Mat runs the Coffee Spoon in her legacy.]]
* NiceGirl: She's friendly to the player and Amanda, and she makes her father a flower crown during the cookout. She also tries to be helpful in Craig's route when you and Craig are [[spoiler: looking for the culprit behind Arnold the stuffed toy's theft.]]

* MissingMom: Her mother Rosa died when Carmensita was young, before the former's dream coffee shop was opened. Mat runs the Coffee Spoon in her legacy.

* StageFright: He fears making presentations in public due to his already awkward personality. [[spoiler:His former wife's death made it more intense and he's been unable to play as a musician again as a result. In the good ending, he will get over it by presenting a song dedicated to you and going back to presenting himself in Open Mic nights]].

* SayingSoundEffectsOutLoud: One of his VoiceGrunting has him saying "WINK!"

* PosthumousCharacter: Alex died when Amanda was young. All we know about them comes from things the player character says.

* HasTwoMommies: Gender-inverted. If your first partner was a man, she used to have two dads. In most of the good endings, she'll have both you and her future (presumed) stepfather.

* HasTwoMommies: Or Has Two Daddies, in his case. On Hugo's second date he'll mention that Ernest resents him because he has to be the authoritarian dad while his ex gets to be the "[[VisitByDivorcedDad Fun Weekend Dad]]". There's also a picture of him with all of the date-able dads on Joseph's yacht, implying that he would hang out regularly with the dads before he and Hugo split and he left the cul-de-sac.

* BareYourMidriff: Pablo's ripped t-shirt looks about a size or two too small for him, but he makes it work for him.

* EverythingsBetterWithPlushies: River thinks so; her favorite toy is a stuffed capybara named Arnold. [[spoiler:Unfortunately it disappears on Craig's route, prompting a search for it.]]

* {{Nice G|uy}}irl: Briar, unlike her twin sister Hazel.

* {{Nice G|uy}}irl: She's friendly to the player and Amanda, and she makes her father a flower crown during the cookout. She also tries to be helpful in Craig's route when you and Craig are [[spoiler: looking for the culprit behind Arnold the stuffed toy's theft.]]

* {{Nice G|uy}}irl: [[spoiler:Surprisingly, on Joseph's first date, Christie turns out to be this when she's not with her twin brother Christian. She becomes more friendly, and if you choose to "slay" her father during a mock duel, she even thanks your player character by giving your player character a hug around the leg.]]

* {{Nice G|uy}}irl: While Daisy doesn't easily relate to children her own age, she is cheerful and friendly to Amanda and your player character, and in Brian's route, [[spoiler:she just wants to be friends with Amanda and doesn't care about yours and Brian's competition--so she and Amanda both conspire to trap you and Brian on a ferris wheel so you can talk out your differences.]]

* GymBunny: Subverted. He's into men and is almost always working out, but it's not out of vanity -- instead, it's out of a genuine concern for his family's lifestyle. He always makes sure to spend time with his children too. He even takes River in his jogs, both to spend time with her and build resistance.

* NiceHat: River's always seen with a little yellow beanie on, and the twins with baseball caps.
