The UFO
An alien intelligence who appears before Jun, Chobi and Remi one night on a beach. It tells them that humans are losing their empathy and sends the three kids on their time-travel adventure to teach them a lesson about extinction.
Zhu/Babypuss
A young Triceratops who loses his siblings and mother to the T.rex right after hatching, but sees the kids, especially Chobi, as a foster family.
The Tyrannosaurus rex
- Big Bad: He is this for the film.
- Eats Babies: He devours all but one (Zhu) of the Triceratops babies that the children find, before killing their mother.
- Dumb Dinos: Averted big time, as he is a Super-Persistent Predator to the kids and Zhu out of vengeance for losing his left eye.
- Last of His Kind: By the film’s final act, he is not only the sole surviving Tyrannosaurus, he is also the last non-avian dinosaur in the world, having survived into the Ice Age. His death in the end causes the final extinction of both.
- Stock Sound Effects: His roars are reused Godzilla and Gamera roars.
- Super-Persistent Predator: He chases the kids everywhere they go, even in the Stone Age.
- Terrifying Tyrannosaur: Par excellence.
- Twinkle in the Eye: He does this frequently.
