    Cortina

Cortina

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/4715908726_a44612f5ed.jpg

An apprentice dancer who dreams of becoming the top dancer of a troupe that travels across the country.

  • Magikarp Power: Starts out as a Level 1 Enchantress and can be oneshotted by Zemeckis, but has great rune power growth that makes her very potent at higher levels.

    Carmine

Carmine

One of the few who has thorough knowledge of medicine. Carmine worked as a doctor before becoming a Knight.

  • Late Character Syndrome: Carmine has great INT and decent rune power potential, but to get him you must first have recruited Mira and Millet by defeating Esgares. At that point, you are halfway through the game. After recruiting the twins, you need to let them quest until they meet Carmine. And after that, you have to wait one year before Carmine joins you. By that, you are probably close to finishing the game. Even if you play as Esgares and have Mira and Millet from the get-go, in the early game you may not be able to afford two less knights for border defense.

    Aldis

Aldis

A peaceful Knight who lives in the forest. Aldis is able to communicate with Dragons.

  • Comeback Mechanic: To recruit her, you need to drop the amount of castles you have to less than three. Aldis is a potent Rune Knight with great rune stats and also comes with a Level 20 Fafnir, both of which are great additions to your army. Most of the time, Aldis joins another country in a campaign as you take their castles, and can give you trouble with the Fafnir when you try to take the last few castles.
  • Dragon Tamer: On the quest encounter, Aldis is seen playing with Puro the baby dragon and will invite the questing Knight to play with them. Aldis can communicate with Dragons and cannot stand watching Dragons being used for wars. When recruited, she joins with Puro.
  • Guide Dang It!: You need to encounter Aldis in a quest and when you have less than three castles, she may show up to join you.

    Rain

Rain

The son of Ranguinus and the step-brother of Millet. He fell in love with Millet the day she was adopted, but has not had the chance to tell her how he felt.

  • Cannot Spit It Out: With Millet. Mira tries to push him into confessing to Millet, all while messing around with him by pretending to be Millet, and it leads to a hilarious misunderstanding. When Rain tries to clear it up with Millet and is about to confess, he still fails to spit it out.
  • Late Character Syndrome: You need to defeat Esgares and have Mira and Millet in your army to recruit him, and at that point, you are halfway through the game. Although Rain has incredible rune power potential, he starts at Level 1 when he joins.
