The 8-Pack (James, Nicole, Da'Vonne, Frank, Michelle, Corey, Tiffany, Zakiyah)

• Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: As a group they are basically constantly plotting against one another and fall apart very quickly. They are basically this season's version of the Bomb Squad.
• Exactly What It Says on the Tin: The Eight Pack is an alliance made up of eight houseguests (four veterans and three newbies).
• Gender-Equal Alliance: This alliance had a pretty good balance of men and women. There were 5 women and 3 men in the alliance.

Spy Girls (Bridgette, Natalie and Bronte)

• Amazon Brigade: The first of the two all-female alliances formed during the season. The other female alliance that formed this season was the Fatal Five. Both female alliances, however, did not end up lasting since Nicole, James, and Zakiyah got caught up in showmances with Corey, James and Paulie respectively.
• Epic Fail: Ultimately, the alliance turned out to be a huge fail because the three girls just could not stick together. Natalie had Conflicting Loyalty and had to choose between being loyal to The Spy Girls or being loyal to James. In the end, Natalie ended up choosing to be loyal to James. Also, Bronte was evicted in Week 3 and Bridgette was blindsided and evicted in Week 7 during the Double Eviction.
• Shout-Out: The team is an obvious one to the Spice Girls. The girls even assigned themselves Spice-worthy nicknames (Bridgette is "Spunky Sky", Natalie is "Flirty Spy" and Bronte... for some reason... is "Wifey Spy").

Fatal Five (Nicole, Da'Vonne, Michelle, Tiffany and Zakiyah)

• Amazon Brigade: The second of the two all-female alliances formed during the season. Ironically, some of the members (including Tiffany and Da'Vonne) questioned Bridgette, Natalie and Bronte's decision to form an all-girl alliance of their own, considering the history of such alliances becoming less than successful due to conflictory personalities.
