Brigitte "Bibi" Blocksberg
A thirteen year old girl living in Neustadt. Bibi is a witch and struggling to control her witch powers. She is cheeky, confident and sometimes a bit impulsive, but definetely has a heart of gold.
- Book Dumb: Bibi doesn't do too well at school and frequently has conflicts with her Stern Teacher Frau Müller-Riebensehl. Especially math is her weakness.

- She uses "Hex hex!" whenever she casts spells.

- Cute Witch: Obviously, her innocent appearance and her mischievous personality can't hide the fact that she's still an adorable little witch.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Bibi is blonde and despite her rebellious streak a really nice girl.
- Only Known by Their Nickname: No one calls her "Brigitte".
- Youthful Freckles: Bibi sports brown freckles on her cheeks, is 13 years old and sometimes appears a bit younger.

Bibis mother, also a witch.
- Fiery Redhead: She has dark red hair and a quite feisty temperament.
Bernhard Blocksberg
- I Just Want to Be Normal: He is a muggle, but his daughter and wifes powers bring lots of unwanted attention to the family. Bernard has a low tolerance for magic, wants Bibi to use magic as little as possible and overall have a normal childhood.
Boris Blocksberg
- Put on a Bus: Because he has lung problems, he gets shipped of to his grandparents who live by the sea (and never comes back). His family forgets he exists.
