* DoesNotLikeShoes: Breton, at least if his comments about how he likes "to feel the breeze between my toes" is to be believed.

* GrumpyBear: Sica_inimicis tends to complain and make sour comments when everyone else is joking around and having fun. Breton too plays this role on occasion, especially in tandem with Sica_inimicis... though he's more likely to just {{Troll}} the others with inappropriate remarks.

* AwesomeMcCoolname: After transitioning, he changes his last name to Abascale.

* {{Asexuality}}: Canonicallyace. It's right there in her screen-name.

* {{Transgender}}: Comes out as a trans man and makes the full transition between seasons 1 and 2.

* AdaptationalNiceGuy: The original D'artagnan was decidedly heroic and brave, but he was also a HotBlooded {{Jerkass}} who thought nothing of stepping on and using people, breaking solemn promises, chasing after married women, and even committing sexual assault by fraud. While Dorothy is by no means a saint, the {{Jerkass}} qualities have been ''heavily'' toned down (and the sexual assault part dropped completely). She ''does'' have a tendency to get carried away and go too far, but she'll always get a HeelRealization and try to make amends.

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Mostly an ''uninitentional'' jerk. She means well, it's just that her temper often gets the better of her, and she's not terribly good at thinking of the consequences to her actions.
* TheLadette: Dorothy likes to play video games, flirting with pretty girls, and tends to get into fights with people who mess with her or her friends.

* PhraseCatcher: "Shut up, Breton."

** sassyinspanish is Susanna-Maria from ''WebVideo/TheAutobiographyOfJaneEyre'' (who was portrayed by the same actor who plays Henry/Ariana in this series).
* FieryLatina: Sassyinspanish hints at this, especially if fan speculation about her identity (see above) is true.

* BewareTheNiceOnes: She's the sweetest, kindest and friendliest of the girls, and at times her good nature leads her to become a bit of a pushover... that's until the others go to far. She becomes furious at Dorothy, Ariana, and Miller and after [[spoiler:learning that they planted heroin inside Rick's office. She then breaks up with Ariana and leaves the group.]]
* TheDitz: {{Deconstructed}}. She ''is'' a little ditzy and naive, but she gets increasingly uncomfortable and frustrated with being patronized and just called "adorable" instead of being taken seriously.

Portia's lover, an exellent hacker and DeadpanSnarker with a pretty big ruthless streak. Comes out as transgender between seasons one and two. The series' counterpart to Aramis.

* {{Transgender}}: Comes out at trans and makes the full transition between seasons 1 and 2.

* OnlySaneMan: Allaroundgreatbi, and to a lesser extent Canonicallyace and Sassyinspanish, are most often the ones trying to talk the others out of their most hare-brained schemes. Usually with no luck.

Dorothy's online friends. They mainly communicate with the characters (and the audience) through on-screen text messages. They don't really have any literary counterparts, but can be said to be a stand-in for the Musketeers as a whole, as a group of friends who are loyal to and look out for each other.

* HeroOfAnotherStory: Even ignoring the FakeCrossover aspect, their comments do occasionally give glimpses into their own lives, showing that they have their own stories going on. Perhaps most noticable is the romance that develops between Emblue and Monochrome.

* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Ariana was the Tomboy to Portia's GirlyGirl, especially considering

* {{Adorkable}}: Every character has heavy shades of this, but Connie and in particular especially when in concert with Dorothy.

* BiTheWay: Dorothy is proudly bi, along with the Inseparable allaroundgreatbi

* TheGhost: Unlike Anne and Monty, he never appears on-screen... though wer ''do'' briefly hear his voice on one of the recordings from Rouchefort's office.

* TheDitz: {{Deconstructed}}. She ''is'' a little ditzy and naive, but she gets increasingly uncomfortable and frustrated with being patronized and just called "adorable" instead of being taken seriously.

The avsurdly powerful president of the student council. The series' counterpart to Cardinal Richelieu.
