Rin Kursu/Joker
- Attempted Rape: Rin is nearly raped by both Kamoshida and Kaneshiro's men.
- Badass in Distress: When she and Makoto are captured by Kaneshiro's men.
- Gender Flip: The genderflip version of Ren/Akira from Persona 5.
- Parental Abandonment: Her parents were barely involved in her life even before the false charges.
- Trauma Conga Line: Rin is beaten by her old Gymnastics team to prevent her from being able to compete. She defends a woman from sexual assault only to be given a criminal record for assault. Her parents have constantly not be involved in her life. Kamoshida had her record leaked followed by her attempting to extort her in exchange for not getting expelled. He beats her and attempts to rape her when she prevents him from raping Makoto. She is beaten by Kaneshiro's men a little over a month later.
Makoto Niijima/Queen
- Adaptational Early Appearance: She makes a full appearance in Chapter 10 of the story during the Kamoshida story arc rather than merely making a cameo appearance.
- Attempted Rape: Kamoshida attempted to rape Makoto prior to Rin's interference.
- Number Two: As in the game, Makoto becomes Rin's second in command for the Phantom Thieves, and is more more pronounced in this story.
