Since this is an Awesome Music page, this page has Spoilers Off! You Have Been Warned!

Trailer

  • Daphne Willis' "Do It Like This" can be heard briefly, but hearing its opening music will make you believe it's with the vibe to the franchise's music.
  • "Kickstart My Heart" by Mötley Crüe, still badass in its own right, plays out well for our heroes' journey.

Film

  • Weezer's original song for the film, "It's Always Sunny in Bikini Bottom", plays at the beginning of the SpongeBob and Gary montage. The entire song goes off as Awesome and Heartwarming through and through.
  • Ricky Martin's "Livin' la Vida Loca" appears during SpongeBob and Patrick's spree around Atlantic City. At a few points, Sponge and Pat even sing a few of the lyrics. Eat your heart out, Shrek 2!
  • "Secret to the Formula" is possibly the most heartwarming song in the entire series, as all of SpongeBob's friends (and even his enemy!) sing about how much they adore the sponge as their friend.
  • Weezer's cover of a-ha's "Take on Me" at the end of the movie gives heartwarming vibes with the Bikini Bottomites' new pet snails, especially with SpongeBob reunited with Gary.
  • "Agua", performed by Tainy and J. Balvin, samples the SpongeBob theme song (SpongeBob using his nose as a flute as well as some of Burger Beard's lines) performed entirely in Spanish (with two English lyrics). The song was possibly made as a response to the series being extremely popular and beloved in Mexico.
  • "Krabby Step" by Tyga, Swae Lee & Lil Mosey uses a remixed version of the original Krusty Krab leitmotif from the previous seasons as its medley, which really works.
  • The Flaming Lips return to the series after their credits theme for the original film with the extremely calming and comfy "Snail: I'm Avail".
  • The soothing jazz rendition of "Gary's Song" performed by Kenny G during the credits.
