Zed in full zombie mode retaining enough of his humanity to resist tearing Bucky to pieces, when his quarry is isolated, on the ground, and only a few feet away from him. It also confirms to said quarry that zombies are in fact NOT savages!

Addison and Bree ignoring Bucky's command to egg the zombies' house, even if it meant not making the cheerleading squad. They realized that the zombies weren't so mean, and that Seabrook sees them as monsters (including Bucky), but she stood to Bucky and told Bucky that zombies were students too. That took guts.
When Bonzo saw what he thought was fire, he ran for the closest exit, and knocked some cheerleaders aside, who were throwing Addison up, with her still the air. Zed knew that he almost went "zombie" on them, but he also pushed a group of cheerleaders, so he could catch Addison right before she fell, and his "zombie instincts" went back online. It's no wonder the coach recommended Zed for the football team, if it wasn't for Zed, Addison would have fell flat on her face, and ended up in the nurse's office.
Addison calling out the people of Seabrook for seeing Zed and the other zombies as monsters, and using him to win the football game.
