• Despite being severely tortured by Du Pusa and Qiao Luohan, from being poisoned that any touch becomes extremely painful to him, to being waterboarded, and to even literally having a tooth knocked out of his mouth, Zhang Chengling refuses to give them what they want and even dares them to do their worst. He's a young boy whose physicality and martial ability are still severely lacking, yet he has pure Balls of Steel to endure Cold-Blooded Torture from two sadistic and depraved assassins, and it was highly likely that they'd end up killing him before they could get any information from him.
• When Zhou Zishu rushes in to save Zhang Chengling, it becomes obvious that had it not been for the nails impairing his ability to fight, all four Scorpion assassins would have already fallen dead in a single night.
• Wen Kexing coming out of nowhere to rescue Zhou Zishu from Duan Pengju.
• As tragic as it is, Wen Kexing nevertheless made sure that Gu Xiang and Cao Weining's deaths would not go unavenged by killing Mo Huaiyang. And he made sure that the man died rather painfully too.
