Original game
- In the finale, just as the Sea of Death has the entire Sea Town surrounded in a hopeless attack, Tosatsu Kingdom, their bunnies, and demon mercenaries arrive to save the day. Coincidentally, Idate/Orca shows back up to save Tatsumiya from Old when he confuses the situation for domestic abuse.
- The flashback in which Samekichi saves Wadanohara from Sal, roughly cementing both Samekichi as a hero and Sal as the villain.
- In the True Ending, Samekichi willingly decides to seal the Sea of Death from the other side and get the Sacred Sword back from Sal, knowing he might not be able to return. Although this would be awesome by itself, we later learn that he eventually succeeded.
Reboot
- A bonus video shows Samekichi's struggle in the Sea of Death and killing Sal and Mikotsu at their request. We knew he would eventually come out alive, but being able to see him succeed is cathartic.
