• Dylan in The Clique Summer Collection. You get a sense of just how much of a self-conscious, grossly-underconfident and constantly ignored girl she really is - which makes it all the more awesome that she gets the confidence to pull off some truly Massie-worthy moves (on someone who genuinely deserves it no less).
• Kristen in the Summer Collection. The whole book is basically Kristen giving Massie a giant Eff You behind her back. It's the anti-Clique Clique novella and proves that Lisi Harrison can write a decent narrative starring decent people, even when she's under pressure on a real time crunch.
• My Little Phony: Claire finally stands up to the Pretty Committee! And it only took her until the second-to-last book in the series!
