  • Paola opens the movie with one, revealing to have manipulated Pietro and Alberto to get the ending of the first movie, and basically to have the team doing everything she wants in this one.
  • Giulio is basically Batman. It's most obvious in the chase for the 29th drug, when the responsible manages to outrun all the other members of the gang, hiding himself in a dark room, only to find Giulio already there, waiting.
  • Pointed out in-universe: eight nerds, having to act outside the law, are able to bring down thirty-one smart drugs' producers in around nine months.
  • Actually should count as a villainous one, but the reporter managing to connect the dots and uncover Paola's plan, also being prepared enough to record her almost-confession (the first time a hollywood-style tactic actually works). And it was all done out of pettiness for how rudely she was treated at the conference.
  • The ending, someone was able to steal the equipment to produce nerve gas and do so for months completely undetected, and in the meantime produced sopox, a complex and very good smart drug as a side effect. To make it clear, even Alberto, who was established as the best chemist in Italy, didn't understand what was going on, and Pietro only got it after a lucky input.
  • Bartolomeo, showing up after he was supposed to have fallen of the train, having managed to grab something and hold to it, taking the GPS that Mattia failed to throw and successfully throwing on their target's van, saving the day.
  • The unnamed sopox producer manages to match Pietro's actions in the previous movie, and then some. He also manages to create and produce a smart-drug with just his academic knowledge, but unlike him, it's implied he's working with his students, not with colleagues, and the drug was still complex enough that it took Alberto, who was explicitly stated to be the best chemist in Italy, several months to figure out how it was made. And he managed to steal a chromatograph completely unnoticed, and to run his business without having his band falling apart. Most importantly, however, the drug was only an added benefit: his actual work was to produce nerve gas, something he was able to do for months and go completely unnoticed.
