[[AC:AceCombat series]]
* Anyone who makes a SpeedRun of a [[AirstrikeImpossible Tunnel Flight]] on full afterburners.
** Such as [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssmDlA8AM0s this guy]] in ''AceCombat5TheUnsungWar''.
** And [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViosXXjybuQ this one]] in ''AceCombat3Electrosphere''. Also, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUqu2u-LX0w same guy, same level]] but on a LightningBruiser superfighter.

[[AC:AgarestSenki]]
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5DqQ4bebC0 This video]] contains the last 12 minutes of the fight with ThatOneBoss Midas. Not only did this player ''NOT KNOW'' that Midas up next, he ''WAS NOT PREPARED'', and yet he [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill OVERKILLED]] Midas '''''on. His. FIRST TRY!''''' ''And he even held back!''

[[AC:BanjoKazooie]]
* Beating the [[ThatOneSidequest final Canary Mary race]] by sheer ButtonMashing power rather than exploiting the RubberbandAI.

[[AC:BatmanArkhamAsylum]]
* Solving all the riddles and getting all the trophies without a guide.
** Finally pulling off the Freeform Perfection acheivement. It's enough to bring a smile to anyone's face.

[[AC:CompanyOfHeroes]]
* This troper was playing a game as the American Infantry company, and was up against the Wermacht's Terror Doctrine (which lets them force your infantry to retreat, drop a dozen incendiary shells on you, or launch the precursor to nuclear missiles at you), and they pulled out a unit unique to the Terror Doctrine—the King Tiger, a tank so incredibly powerful that you can only ever call one in per game. This troper, unwilling to see his tanks massacred, sent every squad of Riflemen he had available to throw sticky bombs at the giant fear engine, which typically will do slight damage and cripple the vehicle's mobility (the plan was to hammer the King with artillery and then use tanks to finish it off). It turns out that seven sticky bombs adds up to a lot of damage, and the King was not only immobilized but also reduced to half health. The Riflemen backed off, and when the sticky bombs were ready, they charged again and successfully destroyed the unit that gave "Terror Doctrine" its name.
* During a game on Hochwald Gap, this troper wound up with an infantry force consisting of one Riflemen squad and four Airborne squads, all armed with as many Panzerschrecks and Recoilless Rifles as they could find and carry. These infantry were waiting by the HQ for orders, when an air recon showed the Jagdpanther was on its way to attack the Allied base (the Jagd is the only unit that rivals the King Tiger in terms of armor and firepower, and its faster and less prone to breakdowns). Once it got nearenough to fire on the defenive line, the infantry were ordered to go and attack it with support from a couple of AT guns that were part of the line, but the AT guns were killed by some other vehicles that had joined in the attack. Despite being completely unsupported, the infantry (armed with about 5 Panzerschrecks and 9 recoilless rifles) killed the Jagdpanther in record time, and then went on to completely annihilate the Hetzers that had been escorting it. To this day, this troper considers that his single greatest achievement while playing Company of Heroes.

[[AC:VideoGame/DevilMayCry]]
* One [[LetsPlay Let's Player]] managed to beat [[ThatOneBoss the third Vergil battle]] in ''[=DMC3=]'', on [[HarderThanHard Dante Must Die mode]], ''without taking '''ANY''' damage''.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kitFV4F8hbM Try this.]] [[DifficultButAwesome Royal Guard]], DMD with SS (best possible ranking, NoDamageRun mandatory.) Made Vergil look about as effective as a schmuck trying to punch out a {{Terminator}}.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-mdoloxqHc&feature=BF&list=PL0E027E78A1C3139A&index=1 Or this.]] DMD. No Growth, SS only, [[MemeticMutation Final Destination]].

[[AC:{{Gradius}}]]
* The [[NintendoHard infamously hard]] ''Gradius III'' arcade version, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erGzgSegA2U completed on one credit...on the hardest difficulty]]. ''Despite losing a buttload of lives in the latter half of the final stage.''

[[AC:{{Hellsinker}}]]
* Hellsinkers fanbase may be small but that does'nt stop some to acomplish some nice achivement's. For example perfecting both [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LWZbmRl7Oc Kareidoscope]] and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoDUkE9xNU4 Floccinaucinihilipilification]].
* Also let's not forget the score record run by "riro" managing to score a wopping 133,361[[hottip:*:For those that aren't fammiliar with the game, an avarage player normaly manage to earn about 5000 to 7000 spirit's on a normal run.]] spirit's. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLqdCuRGQc8 Here]] are the first 2 stages of that run.

[[AC:HyperdimensionNeptuniaMk2]]
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph9QfwlzY6c&hd=1 This guy]] beats the ''hardest'' BonusBoss of the game at an average of level late 70s. To even ''hit her'', you'll need to be at least in the high 80s.

[[AC:InTheGroove]]
* Mad Matt is the fastest player in the world. 250bpm is no longer impossible. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6shJxT_AclI That's almost 17 steps per second.]]

[[AC:{{I Wanna Be The Guy}}]]
* The [[NintendoHard merciless]] ''I Wanna Be The Guy,'' [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ut46QsQtQwA completed on the aptly named Impossible Mode]]. The game's creator ''refused to believe him''.

[[AC:{{Kirby}}]]
* Barely a week after Kirby's Return to Dream Land has been released, somebody [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AErfoTZWuso beats True Arena without abilities or healing]]. (Spoilers in video, naturally.)
** And he did it again with Waddle Dee. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0sZ7a1c_5A Here]].

[[AC:{{Legend of Zelda}}]]
* The first time this troper fought [[TheLegendofZeldaTwilightPrincess Stallord]] was nothing short of awesome. When I began, I got a free strike on the first try before the boss could summon his [[Mooks]]. The rest of the first phase was a bit touch and go in trying to get solid hits in. The second phase, however, I dodged all of Stallord's fire blasts and knocked him down flawlessly. To end the battle, this troper used four, count 'em, [[FourIsDeath FOUR]] Mortal Draws to finish the boss in one try. When the fourth hit connected, I could almost hear the steel of Zant's sword break. A minor example compared to many of the others on this page, but still awesome.
* In [[TheLegendOfZeldaOcarinaOfTime Ocarina of Time]], beating the [[DownTheDrain Water]] [[ScrappyLevel Temple]] without the Zora Tunic.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnEOwXAzBU4 This]] humiliates [[TheLegendOfZeldaSkywardSword Imprisoned]] [[spoiler:round 1]], as the guy destroys all 8 of the toes during the TurnsRed phase ''in only 35 seconds''. The kicker? He points out in the description that he wasn't even meaning to do a time attack.

[[AC: MarvelVsCapcom series]]
* VideoGame/MarvelVsCapcom3: Beating Galactus on the first try, on hard, without losing a single person.

[[AC:{{Metroid}}]]
* [[LetsPlay UltraJMan]]'s {{Speedrun}} of the original ''Metroid'' [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGRwn0i_JyY&feature=related for Awesome Games Done Quick]]. In particular, the endgame, where he [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knqJ4KqaDyY#t=6m25s delivers a completely clutch endgame sequence with only the bare minimum of required missiles and almost no health.]] It really must be seen to be believed.

[[AC:Metroid Prime Trilogy]]
* Don't know if this would count since That One Boss, "Boost Guardian" was toned down for the special edition so YMMV, but this Troper felt proud when he played Metroid Prime 2: Echoes on Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Wii and he beat the Boost Guardian on his first try.
* After dying a lot on Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, this troper managed to beat Metroid Prime 3: Corruption without dying or getting corrupted once.

[[AC:VideoGame/MegaMan2]]
* Anyone(Including This Troper) that beat [[ThatOneBoss Air Man]] has one. Particularly if the weapon he's weak to [[spoiler:(Leaf Shield)]] wasn't used.
* This Troper Beat [[ThatOneLevel Quick]] [[ThatOneBoss Man]] with the plasma-cannon[[hottip:*:The weak weapon you start out with in the game.]].

[[AC:VideoGame/MegaManX: Command Mission]]
* This Troper once played Mega Man X: Command Mission, and during the second phase of the boss, Dr. Psyche, the boss attacked all the party members and reduced their HP to zero. By sheer luck, X gets a second wind and comes back with little HP. With no other options, I decided to attack the boss one last time, and it was the hit that defeated him. Let me clarify: I delivered the final blow I needed to beat the boss after my party was wiped out and X was at critical after reviving from a lucky chance. Words cannot express how I felt about that moment. But considering that I only needed one more hit to beat him. Should have X's second wind not have happened when I needed one more hit to win, those words would be swears.

[[AC:{{NinjaGaiden}}]]
* Few people ever make it through this NintendoHard 8-bit era platformer at all. Fewer still make it through ''in a single life''. Refilling your life bar after every cinematic is the only mercy this game will have for you, so make the most of it...

[[AC:NintendoWars series]]
* A newbie LPer by the name of Santouryu3 [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tf128aNdZs8 humiliates Chapter 10 in Days of Ruin]], destroying enough of the enemy units to overrun the HQ in only 8 Days without any non-forced unit losses. Let's put it in perspective: it ''impresses Master Knight DH, who even implies mistake catching in his comment''.

[[AC:{{NoMoreHeroes}}]]
* This troper recently purchased the [[UpdatedRerelease Heroes' Paradise]] edition for the PS3 and came face to face with [[ThatOneBoss Bad Girl]]. I'm not sure if it was a {{Good Bad Bug}} or not, but I managed to take her out with a step-in slice, while she was [[WoundedGazelleGambit crying on the floor,]] ''[[ThatOneAttack with one hand on her bat]]''. {{YMMV}} on this one though.

[[AC:VideoGame/{{Portal 2}}]]
* The very last portal you make. I've never met a single person who didn't make some sort of [[{{Squee}} excited exclamation]] after they realized what they had to do.

[[AC:RockBand]]
* Tim Converse getting [=ALL RB3=] career goals. [[http://www.rockband.com/blog/tim-converse-100-committed-to-rock-band Harmonix made an article on it.]]

[[AC:ShinMegamiTensei and spinoffs]]
* {{Persona 3}}. Getting Fortune and/or Strength to become Afraid through the roulette, and then one-shotting them with Ghastly Wail.
* Defeating the Demi-Fiend in ''DigitalDevilSaga'', infamous for being one of the hardest EasternRPG bosses '''ever.''' It takes saintly patience to continue fighting [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YacJjVNrPS4&t=5m even after he recovers all of his health]].

[[AC:{{SSX}}]]
* In the newest installment, any time you do a trick off of a helicopter.

[[AC:StarWarsBattlefront]]
* This troper was playing on Geonosis in the first game with his brother once. He had gotten my side (the Republic) down to one person. Just one, and he had over 150. Up until now, it had been a {{Curb-Stomp Battle}} in favor of him. So I ran to the AT-TE, and lo and behold, the other person still alive was there too (When it says 1, there's usually 2 or 3 extra soldiers on the map, due to the fact that if one person was too good, you could easily eliminate the AI before he took out your army. In this case, there was just me and one AI). So, We just camp in the AT-TE and proceed to Curb Stomp my brother down to 10-1. We quickly eliminate the other 9, and now it is down to him and me, as well as another Super Battle Droid running around somewhere, but we wanted each other to be the last kill. He gets into a Geonosian Starfighter, and I start shooting at him with the AT-TE. Out of pure luck, I land all four shots in the initial burst, which makes it nearly dead. I switch to the turret on top of the AT-TE and proceed to shoot him out of the sky and win the fight.

[[AC:SuperMarioBros]]
* [[VideoGame/SuperMarioGalaxy2 THE.]] [[OneHitPointWonder PERFECT.]] [[NintendoHard RUN.]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bndgujEJSTc&feature=related If you are able to do it, the '''GOD''' of the Mario universe personally presents you with the game's final star.]]
* In NewSuperMarioBrosWii, [[Tropers/RLYoshi I]] beat the entire first world - Star Coins included - while controlling ''Mario and Luigi at the same time''. That's right. Two controllers. One player. ''No deaths''. It made me feel awesome.

[[AC:SuperSmashBros]]
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNEa4Lhi2ls 15 Minute Melee with Zelda]]. No Shiek. No [[GameBreaker Screw Attack abuse]]. On-stage only. Battlefield.
** The same player [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0vDxzkXjPs tops himself]], by using [[JokeCharacter Pichu]], without using Thunder or (again) the Screw Attack.
** And another one done, with [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgatVIAp6e8 Mewtwo]]. Nearly 700 KOs with him too. Seriously, what is it with him and SquishyWizard characters?
* [[http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0A239C6DED857003 15 Minute Melees with everybody without abusing cheap stuff]]. Enjoy near-400 minutes of sexiness.
* This Troper was playing ''Brawl'' with his girlfriend, using [[FireEmblem Marth]] against her [[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaTheWindWaker Toon Link]]. We each had over 250% damage. [[OhCrap She gets the Smash Ball]]. [[LimitBreak She uses]] '''[[LimitBreak Triforce Slash]]'''. Out of pure desperation, I try and use Marth's '''Counter''' attack. [[HolyShitQuotient It WORKS]], and [[OneHitKill insta-kills]] Toon Link. For a good three minutes, the both of us - and a number of friends also in the room - just stared [[JawDrop slack-jawed at the screen]]. And then, once some of us start regaining our senses... [[CrowningMomentOfFunny "Did I just do what I think I did?"]]
* This Troper was playing a 4 man free-for-all with zelda on the temple level. I was fighting a single enemy on the far left of the stage and used the arrow of light, hit the first charactor head on, then it flashed to the second, and the third. KO'ed all three, and the entire room died laughing.
* This Troper once pulled off a CrowningMomentOfFunny in ''Brawl'' when playing against his friends. Everybody was Jigglypuff, the stage was Spear Pillar, and items were turned on. A rolling crate spawned on the top level, I hopped on and attacked it to get it rolling. It rolls off the edge, I attack it again to reverse its direction, and it collides with my friend on the bottom level, K.O.'ing him. One of the most memorable matches we've ever had.

[[AC:VideoGame/{{Tetris}}]]
* The Grand Master rank in the ''TetrisTheGrandMaster'' series. From the basic GM rank in the original, to the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwikyCFs2YQ&feature=related so-hard-only-4-people-in-the-world-have-done-it GM]] in ''Tetris: The Grand Master 3''.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgKo-IZ1FrU One player]] turns this achievement into a CrowningMomentOfFunny. [[spoiler:'''[[BigYes YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!]]''']]

[[AC:VideoGame/{{Tomba}}]]
* Beating the trolly minigame in Tomba 2.

[[AC:{{Touhou}}]]
* Pretty much any time a player beats [[BrutalBonusLevel an Extra boss]] counts as one of these, especially if it's their first time doing so. These bosses are extremely long by shoot-em-up standards, and they do not let up for one moment. Just ''unlocking'' them requires beating the game without continues, a very hard feat in itself.
** Of course, [[ChallengeGamer some players]] manage to go even further. Perfect Cherry Blossom's Phantasm stage, which is to the Extra stage what Lunatic difficulty is to Normal difficulty, is a popular target. There are quite a few replays out there of players beating it without ever getting hit.
*** And then the player known as GIL managed to go to the limit and beat the stage without ever moving up or down. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEnSnTLZkYI It has to be seen to be believed.]]
** One of the achievements that instantly marks a Touhou player as a ChallengeGamer of the highest caliber is the Virtue of Wind God timeout. This consists of taking ThatOneAttack from the last boss of ''Mountain of Faith'', on [[HarderThanHard Lunatic difficulty]], which as a last card lasts a whopping ''two and a half minutes'', and proceeding to get through it without shooting, bombing or getting hit. The number of players known to have done this is '''15'''. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Or7_gfJ4h94 Here is one video of someone pulling it off.]]
** The photography games Shoot the Bullet or Double Spoiler are basically a giant collection of {{That One Attack}}s by the nature of them, and by the end of the game, the difficulty for the individual cards are well above Lunatic level. This does not stop some players from clearing every card in both games, including the absurdly hard "Seamless Ceiling of Kinkaku-ji", nigh-unanimously considered the single hardest card in Shoot the Bullet.
*** If that wasn't enough, some players take it even further. [[ChallengeGamer One player]] even managed to clear Seamless Ceiling while playing at 90 FPS, meaning everything (including the player) moves at 1.5 times the speed - making precision dodging nigh-impossible in a spellcard that requires ridiculously precise dodging, and vastly increasing the difficulty of an already nightmarish card. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzlOg_HA3Uw See for yourself]].

* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tHMe35gLNo This match video]]. At the time of that match, Rachel Alucard was rated as among the top-tier characters. Whether defense, offense, zoning, or rushdown strategies, she could do it all with flair. Tager, by contrast, was considered one of the bottom-tier characters, with difficult ways to approach almost anyone and few if any ways to reverse the flow of battle by countering the opponent's pressure. About the only character he could fight on even footing was Hakumen, who Tager had demolished in the first round of the tournament. This time, however, he'd be up against a real fight thanks to Rachel...and for most of the first round, that's the case. Pinned, stuck in long combos, little to no way to pull out a victory... and then you realize that Tager's player is [[{{MemeticBadass}} Mike Z]]. Cue [[{{MemeticMutation}} REAL SOVIET DAMAGE]].
** And [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbVioLGD-gU this]] one provides with perhaps the greatest [[CurbStompBattle smackdown]] Mike Z has ever delivered.
* At [=EVO2011=], Spark shows off just how much of a StoneWall [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fx28NR5yDk Hakumen can be]]. Made awesome and hilarious by how much of a fan favorite Spark was, to the point that almost every combo and between-match break had a crowd cheering him on.
-->'''Crowd:''' ''[[{{CatchPhrase}} Ay! Ay! Ay! Ay! Ay! Ay! Ay! Ay!]]''\\

* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ug-_MXN94WU&feature=player_detailpage#t=325s This first round]] between Dio (A Carl player) and Shadow (Who was playing Relius). It starts out with the amazingly badass character-specific BattleIntro, already cool in its own way. But the round truly reaches its peak at the end, when Shadow throws out an Ignis super to chip out Dio, only to have Nirvana block it while Dio tries desperately to keep both Relius and Ignis out, barely making it. Unfazed, Shadow uses another Ignis super... Just before a single attack from Nirvana punches through and knocks him out. It's too bad the next two rounds did not live up to the hype of the first.

[[AC:CommandAndConquer]]
* This troper's gaming club once held a 5 player 4 on 1 battle against one of our senior members. After spending an hour defending our bases from his incursions, one of us decided to spawn air fighters. 30 minutes later, 4000 aircraft per person (and 10000 for the nemesis) dogfought in the skies above his base. We managed to crash 6 top of the line Alienware computers at once that day. Still don't know who would have won...

[[AC:EveOnline]]
* Counts as [[Awesome/RealLife a real life example]] as well, seeing how this is an MMORPG. A corporation called the Guiding Hand Social Club was contracted to assassinate another corporations CEO. During the next 12 months they pumped the rival corporation full of spies, the main ones eventually becoming second-in-command, before eventually ambushing their target, destroying her giant, expensive battlecruiser and stealing her frozen corpse in a breathtaking display of treachery, while the other spies were busy draining the corporation's holds of any valuables and cashing in a 2 Billion ISK loan in its name, all of it happening simultaneously. More sordid details of the matter can be found [[http://eve.klaki.net/heist/ here]]
** They got away with that without CONCORD intervention? Damn! That's gutsy!
** You talk of this, yet you fail to mention GoonSquad's utter annihilation of Band of Brothers through a single director's defection? A heist is one thing. Destroying your enemies through a single backstabbing is another beast entirely.

[[AC:GearsOfWar 3]]
* While playing Horde 2.0 on Thrashball Stadium, this troper was left as the last man alive on wave 50 against a full health Brumak. I won.
** Brumak? try a full health LambZerker. My saving grace was the map checkout has a small platform in front of the digger/longshot spawn. Somehow lured it up their then stood in the middle of the map. took ALL my ammo but brought her down.

[[AC:VideoGame/GuiltyGear]]

[[AC:HaloReach]]
* This troper joined a game of Invasion. The enemy team was a clan of high ranking people who were obviously very good. At the start of the game, my entire team leaves, leaving me alone to fight all 6 of them alone. During the first round of the game, I'd spawn and launch grenades and shoot, killing one or two at a time. Then, during the Spartan round, I crouch in a corner, and then get a air assasination on an enemy, then I land and immediatly assasinate another one of them, the tackle assassination. So from the game persective, my spartan julmped and stapped an elite in the head, then jumped on an elite and killed him. Fast forward to them capturing the core, and this troper holds them off using only a shotgun, pistol and armor lock. For 2 minutes. Single-handedly destroying their banshee without jacking it. When the game was over, I had 50 kills, and 33 deaths. One guy backed out of their party and praised me as a literal one man army whom they had made the mistake of underestimating. This troper felt BADASS.

[[AC:HeroesOfNewerth]]
* [[http://honcast.com/video/2012/04/02/its-gosu-invitatoinal-grand-finals-tdm-vs-tig-ga-2 It's Gosu Invitational Grand Finals tdM vs TiG game 2.]] (Skip to about 58:00.)After a long and exciting game, Pebbles and Hag attempt to sneak a Kongor kill. Although they do manage to get it, Parasite picks up the token first, rendering the situation in the Hellbourne's team favor. They then attempt to finish the game immediately by pushing for the World Tree as 5. Little do they know Tundra just bought back and Nymphora is porting what is left of the Legion team into the Hellbourne's base, initiating a No-Holds-Barred Base Race, already one of the most exciting if not THE most exciting way to end a match. It would appear to any onlooker that the Hellbourne team is going to kill the World Tree first, as they have 5 heroes and super creeps pounding on the world tree. But the Legion team wouldn't take no for an answer. Tundra (played by none other than MoonMeander) ends up selling his Barrier Idol to buy a Sol's Bulwark at the Hellbourne base just for the -armor on the shrine. In one of the big plays of the century, Era on Pebbles just manages to get enough money to buy back after the Hellbourne team kills the other Shrine tower. He proceeds to buy back and blinks in, landing a combo on the Legion team that is desperately trying to finish off the World Tree, attracting the aggro of the Super Creeps in the process. So with all these big plays, Who will come out victorious? In the end, the winner ends up being... [[spoiler:"Oh! The World Tr... NO! THE SACRIFICIAL SHRINE GOES DOWN!? WHAT!?" The Legion team won! But how!? The answer? [[{{Critical Existence Failure}} TWO.]] [[{{InstantWinCondition}} HIT POINTS.]] Two hit points on the world tree. (Out of 4250 life total.) * Final match at GDC 2012. At first, Light Team ends up doing poorly, to the point where they fall behind, but they start catching up. By that point, though, regular Pit turns out to be in trouble, but luckily, the shown Light team member [[spoiler:who turns out to be Master Knight DH]] heads to the scene ASAP and successfully uses his close range weapon (do we have a trope for "prefers close range"?) to clobber the responsible opponent. '''''HARD!''''' The opponent in question is left unable to escape and gets KOed, just in time for the Dark Pit player and the third opponent to come by. Both Light team members focus their efforts on the Dark Pit player, probably realizing that the battle wasn't going to last past this skirmish. Ultimately, the Pit player gets the KO [[DownToTheLastPlay with minimal health left]]. That's right: Light Team won by a thread thanks to teamwork with a timely assist. It had to be seen to be believed.

[[AC:LeagueOfLegends]]
* On February 20, 2012, this troper was playing in a 5v5 game at Summoner's Rift, classic mode. There were a grand total of nine players in the game at this moment, with one person leaving early for reasons unknown. Of these nine players, two people on Blue Team and one Person on Purple Team were ganking champions left and right. The champions used were Master Yi, the resident Over-Powered Champion, Ahri, a [[NarutoShippuden Nine-Tailed Fox]], for the Blue Team, and Twisted Fate, the Gambler, for the Purple Team. This troper was on Purple Team the whole time. The final score for kills was 68P-55B. Ahri and Yi together had 41 kills and 12 assists. Twisted Fate ''alone'' had 40 kills and 15 assists, half of them coming against Yi and Ahri. The best part? Blue Team had been pushing and had the upper hand for 90% of the battle. When Twisted Fate managed to take out Yi and Ahri and force them to endure a minute of respawn time, he ''alone'' pushed, took out all three turrets on the middle (and most dangerous) road, took out the Inhibitor also, and he ''alone'' took out both turrets guarding the nexus. Cue Blue team panic. The other three champions who were still alive are now fleeing back to their Nexus to eliminate Twisted Fate, and Yi and Ahri respawned about now. ''All FIVE of them ganged up on Twisted Fate, and he beat all five of them single-handedly!'' By now, every champion (except the one who left) was level 18 and had tons of powerful items they had bought at their disposal. Upon defeating the entire team (and earning one of the rarest awards ever, the Pennta-Kill), Twisted Fate proceeded to wipe out the Nexus and finish the game. He spent the entirety of the post-game chat with the other team in utter awe of his own abilities. According to him, he had never played that well.
* Same troper as above. This time, it was a three hour long game. That's right. ''THREE HOURS.'' What made it three hours long was the best part of the game. I was with a Fiora who fed early. As a result, the other team got early advantages and pushed us all the way back within ten minutes. We were all saying "Report Fiora! Report Fiora!" But then something amazing happened. They got us backed up to the two Nexus turrets. Naturally, we stayed put, playing defense. And we played it smart. As a result, every time their group and their minions came at us, we were able to fend them off. This lasted for about thirty minutes before we could sense the tide turning. When we sensed it, we had been getting enough money from minion kills to get powerful items. Fiora had two Phantom Dancers, two Bloodthirsters, and two Infinity Edges. Once that happened, we agreed in a lull in the fighting to push hard mid if we managed to score an ace. The opportunity didn't come for another two hours. Two hours of defense. Two hours of fending off the other team because they would go get Baron and attack us. They even wrecked one of the two Nexus Turrets. Suddenly, their Pantheon jumped right into our midst, and their Ashe ran straight at us. Two of their most powerful champions were ganked right off the bat by the same Fiora who fed them. With them down, we rushed the other three and got them killed quickly. They at this point are up with all their turrets, but because of the defense we put up, they are way behind on kills. So, after we scored the Ace, we pushed hard up the middle, taking out all three of their turrets and their inhibitor in less than a minute because we split up to do so. After that, Pantheon and Ashe were back, and we got them again. Then the other three came back and we got them again. Now we pushed in the outside lanes, to give us some room. We managed to get all their turrets and inhibitors down in about two minutes, and suddenly, ''they'' were the ones putting up a defense against their nexus turrets. Rather than go for Baron like they did, we would run up, get a few hits on one, then get back before the turrets and they could retaliate. Finally, when we had gotten them low enough, we struck. We ganked all of them within seconds, laid waste to their turrets, and then proceeded to wipe out their nexus and win it! That was with 2h:30m of defense backed up to our own nexus!

* Justin Wong gets a ''huge'' Crowning Moment of Awesome in [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVmc5ZepdVs his Evo '07 match against Yipes.]] At the start of the video, he's down to one character (Cyclops), and Yips still has three, all with full or near-full life, and two of them (Storm and Magneto) are [[GameBreaker two of the four best characters in the game]]. Wong somehow manages to take down ''all three characters with his one''.
* Justin Wong [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obvigJ__I7k does this again,]] but with his one character just ''one chip away'' from death.
* He also defeats one of England's best ''Marvel vs. Capcom 2'' players [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDfC5ioO4TI using two of the worst characters in the game.]]

** For a bit of context, this has been called "The Final Chapter" for a reason, it happened a month before vanilla ''3'' came out, meaning it would probably be the last great even in ''Marvel vs. Capcom 2'' history. And it was arguably ''THE'' best moment in that gaming history.

* Everyone loves the Clockw0rk versus Neo money match, but to many ''[=MvC2=]'' fans, Clockw0rk's CMOA was his money match against Dark Prince in 2007. Prior to the match, Dark Prince had been talking trash about several old-school players, including Clockw0rk, calling them washed up has-beens who were only recognized based on past accomplishments rather than relevance in the current competitive scene, and he went on to say that he could beat any one of them. Clockw0rk [[BreakTheHaughty proved him wrong]] when he won the money match [[CurbStompBattle 11 games to 3, winning the last 7 games in a row]]. Dark Prince had his Crowning Moment of Funny when he ran out of quarters to put into the arcade machine after the third game, apparently not having expected Clockw0rk to win more than two games.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXWOz7N9IRg MVC2 Will Never Die]] is a montage of awesome moments of the game. The Amir vs. BB Hood moments are particularly memorable.

* Combofiend got one against Marn at Final Round XIV. With a team of relatively underrated characters, he managed to win all three rounds against his opponent. The most magnificent moment was in the last round, when, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mSbHE5iHUQ reduced to only a pixel of health and against Marn's Sentinel, Combofiend managed to make a comeback using Spencer's Bionic Lancer move.]] Or rather, his '''[[MemeticMutation BIONIC AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRMMM!!!]]''' The crowd and announcers' reactions are priceless. * Wong did get some of the glory. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLXLHGr03dw Against Richard Nyguyen]], he managed an incredible Akuma comeback against two characters with no X-factor and the tiniest smidgen of life imaginable.
* At a Bar Fights tournament on 12/11, Marn fought Combofiend again in another First to 5, with Combofiend absolutely '''trashing''' Marn, not losing '''a single match'''. And to cap it all off, Combofiend finished Marn's X-Factor Wesker with what else but a [[CallBack BIONIC AAAAAAAARRRRRRM!]]
* Iron Fist was universally considered a bottom tier character in the ''Ultimate'' version of this game. That didn't stop Justin Wong from taking first place in Southern California Regionals with him as the point character.
* Japanese player Kusoru, aka AGEOJOE, joined a tournament with a team of Rocket Racoon, Viewtiful Joe, and Frank West. Everybody expected this team of three low-tier characters to go down quickly. However, not only did AGEOJOE win the tournament, he also managed to defeat someone using [[GameBreaker Dark Phoenix]] ''twice''.

[[AC:StreetFighter]]
* The most well known one is Evo Moment #37, or [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtuA5we0RZU "Daigo full parry"]] from EVO 2004. ''VideoGame/StreetFighterIII: 3rd Strike'' has a defensive system - "Parrying" - which allows any player with good enough timing to deflect a move without taking damage; the risk is high, but the reward is great.\\
\\
In the famous match between Justin Wong and Daigo Umehara[[hottip:*:possibly the best ''Street Fighter'' player ever; even Capcom's own staff fear his skills]] Daigo (playing as Ken) is down to a bare sliver of health against Justin (Chun-Li). As Justin goes for a Super Combo, all looks lost... but then Daigo proves why he's nicknamed "The Beast": knowing that blocking even one blow would cost him the match (due to "chip" damage), Daigo goes UpToEleven for even expert players and '''''parries every possible hit of the Super Combo,''''' then very quickly counters with a Super Combo of his own to win the match. To this day, it's still considered one of the most impressive feats in gaming. To give a sports analogy - it's like Doug Flutie's "Miracle in Miami"-level comeback.\\
\\
To put it another way, the moment is so famous among the fighting game community that when ''Third Strike: Online Edition'' was released, Evo Moment #37 [[AscendedMeme was featured as an achievement in the game]]. It gets better when hearing Daigo retrospectively talk about that match: Daigo needed the sound of Chun-Li's kicks in order to properly time his parries, but the noise generated by the onlookers distracted him. ''He still managed to pull off the feat effortlessly without sound.'' And when speaking of the impressiveness of that moment, Daigo merely commented, "That's just one of my common techniques, really." In other words, it's the fighting game equivalent of a "ButForMeItWasTuesday" moment!\\
\\
For more irony, pay close attention the score during the match. Right before Chun-Li goes in with her Hoyoku Sen, Justin has 107000 points. Daigo's score after all of that parrying and his finishing combo? '''107500.'''
** A feat later repeated by English player Ryan Hart in the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYQ_tufi9eo#t=330s "Battle Of Destiny Tournament"]]... against [[RunningGag Justin Wong]].
** In the EVO 2009 ''VideoGame/StreetFighterIV'' Finals, Justin Wong (playing Abel) had already been knocked down into Loser's Bracket by Daigo's unstoppable Ryu. Justin fought his way back into the Grand Final, and lost game 1. He goes back to the character select screen, the audience yelling "SWITCH SWITCH SWITCH!", expecting to see Justin's incredible Rufus - and Justin picks Balrog with the Stars'n'Stripes hoodie. America vs. Japan. Loud'n'proud vs. stoic fury. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijhUJTZrxLk "Let's Go Justin!!"]] And this from a player who's usually vehemently disliked by American audiences.
** At Capcom's Fight Club LA event in 2010 - celebrating the release of ''Super Street Fighter IV'' - Daigo Umehara had a rematch with Justin Wong. Best three-out-of-five matches. Guile vs. Rufus. No switching. During the final round of the deciding match, Justin uses Rufus' Space Opera Symphony Ultra Combo while he has only around 5% health left and thinks he's come back as he piles on the corner pressure. He jumps in for the kill with the Falcon Dive Kick, but Daigo uses Guile's Flash Explosion Ultra Combo at ''the very last second'' as a counterattack. The end result? '''A DOUBLE K.O.''' - the rematch ended in a draw. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfJgS1C0ZUU&fmt=18#t=4m38s See it for yourself.]]
** EVO 2010, Justin Wong was looking to redeem himself against Daigo in ''Super SFIV'' (after the Fight Club LA Double-KO & previous EVO loss). Standing in his way -- the incredible pad Zangief known as [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckg0PUizbFQ "Vangief"]] ''who sends Justin to Loser's bracket'', and Taiwan's low-tier Adon-playing hero, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8oj7mra-os "Gamerbee."]] '''And yes, that is a ballroom of OVER 5,000 spectators jumping to their feet.''' Leading to an explosion in hits to the SRK Adon forums, and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXBa9hab8Nw some funny remixes.]]
** Also at EVO 2010, the infamous [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvigCN9hhTo Juicebox Abel vs. Scumbag match.]] Scumbag picks Blanka against Juicebox Abel's... Abel. In the 2nd match of the game, things seem to be looking up for Scumbag, so he starts backdashing a few times. He then boldly proceeds to, as his name suggests, taunt Juicebox. Cue Juicebox making a HUGE comeback, and reducing Blanka's health from full to nothing in about 15 seconds. Upon losing, Scumbag angrily throws his stick to the floor, and gives Juicebox a nice "Fuck you" before [[RageQuit angrily storming off]].
* The first match of the [=SoCal=] Regionals grand finals for ''Super Street Fighter IV'' saw Tokido (as Akuma) vs. [=ClakeyD=] (as Ibuki). Both players are 2-2, at which point Tokido proceeds to remove his black jacket, revealing his white Godsgarden t-shirt. After getting knocked down to 20% health, Tokido proceeds to make a big comeback, and while finishing Ibuki with his Raging Demon, he walks in front of the projector, which proceeds to '''shine Akuma's "Heaven" symbol on his back'''. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzDxLUcji3Y Watch how godlike it is here.]]
* At EVO 2011, much like the Hungrybox vs. Armada SuperSmashBros example below, we have [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2zlwoSknBE 801Strider vs. DR Ray]]. After doing button configuration practice with each fighter's mainstay characters (DR Ray as [[BruceLeeClone Fei Long]] and [=801Strider=] as [[LightningBruiser Akuma]], Strider suddenly switches to [[TheUnexpected Mak]][[GlassCannon oto]]. After a shaky first round, Strider proceeds to kick DR Ray's ass all over the place to the roar of the crowd.
* Evo 2011: Poongko and Latif take down the aforementioned Daigo "The Beast" Umehara, sending him home with a fourth-place finish. In particular, Poongko sent Daigo (using Yun, one of the PurposefullyOverpowered character) to the loser's bracket [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D132c7Z1w54 by winning four rounds in a row]] and ''getting a perfect on him to end the set.'' [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCi37ra4Cr0 Latif finished the job after a tough fight.]]
* And now, a lost Evo moment. In one of the after hours segments, just when you thought it couldn't get any more hype, the elevator opens. Out comes a guy wearing a horse's head mask. Everybody starts laughing their asses off, especially when the guy starts [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxunwMB_Qfs downing some beer and what appears to be energy drink or Sierra Mist.]] He then appears behind Poongko and Online Tony and sticks his head in between them.

Let me clarify: I delivered the final blow I needed to beat the boss after my party was wiped out and X was at critical after reviving from a lucky chance.

* This Troper once pulled off a CrowningMomentOfFunny in ''Brawl'' when playing against his friends. Everybody was Jigglypuff, the stage was Spear Pillar, and items were turned on.

\\

They both turn around slowly and start laughing their asses off too. And thus, Hype Horse was born.

* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lIcE_-tWv8 This video]] is one of the greatest comebacks that this troper has ever seen in a game. Ever.
* The stage is Round V, Winners Quarterfinals. The combatants are Armada, Europe's top player, and Hungrybox, one of the best Jigglypuff players in the world. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8twwXHDIVBc Armada manages to take down Hbox 2-0]], but not with his main, Peach; he instead clinches victory with ''[[TheUnexpected Young Link]]''. [[hottip:*:For those not familiar with the ''Melee'' scene: As of the December 31st, 2010 [[CharacterTiers character tier]] rankings, [[WhosLaughingNow Jigglypuff is ranked third best in the game]]; Young Link is ranked seventeenth out of twenty-six.]] [[HolyShitQuotient Moves were shown.]]
* The setting is the final match of a Smash Tourney in Worchester, MA. Lucas vs Shiek. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7BuMeWK62w As the video shows]], the Sheik player looks assured to win handily...THEN 6:23 occurs. Although the Lucas player DOES lose afterward, the reactions by both the crowd and the announcer assure this video should be here.
* This Troper played as Samus once in the original Super Smash Bros and made it all the way to Master Hand. After charging up the beam and Master Hand near defeat, he forced me off the stage. With one final blast, I took out Master Hand with a charged beam as I fell off the stage, his death animation preventing the fall from killing me. There's a home video showing it...but it missed the moment of awesome where the winning blow hits Master Hand.

[[AC:VideoGame/TeamFortress2]]
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyEpVBu6G8c/ This]] very daring escape by a lonesome Engineer.
* Anyone playing Medic who gets the Second Opinion achievement just had one of these. For those of you who don't play, this involves using your [[HealingShiv medigun]] to make two people invincible at the same time. This is ''extremely'' hard to pull off.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBp8LM2me4g This video]] proves that the Sticky Jumper, a weapon that deals absolutely no damage to anyone, is incredibly awesome in the right hands.
** I think his teammate's quote puts it better than we ever can.
--> "Damn, Gravy. Leave some for the rest of us."
** Sadly, after a {{Nerf}}, this trick is AwesomeButImpractical.
* For an Engineer, nothing has to be more satisfying than leading a headstrong and/or clueless enemy directly into the path of your sentry. My record of 32 kills without losing the sentry to either sappers, stickies, rockets, or ubers is an accomplishment I can be proud of.

Upon defeating the entire team (and earning one of the rarest awards ever, the Quinta-Kill), Twisted Fate proceeded to wipe out the Nexus and finish the game.
