• The first time Sam deals with Frankie, upon learning Frankie is a liar and a swindler. By throwing he right out of the bath house.
• Sam's dealings with the snooty butler during his search for Jenny. Even kicking down the door that the man tries to close in his face, as Sam tries to present Jenny with his wedding gifts in tow.
  Butler: Deliver all packages in the rear, tradesmen's entrance. (points to the back of the house, and attempts to close the door in Sam's face)
  Sam: (indignant) I'm no tradesmen! (kicks the door open)
• Once Sam learns Jenny couldn't wait for George and married said butler, he leaves the way he came in. Despite said butler's protests.
  Butler: Sir! The back door!
  Sam: I never use it!
• Sam calling out Lena Nordquist and all the other "nutty wives" at the Loggers Picnic.
  Sam: I thought we were invited to a picnic, not an uprising of nutty wives, with war paint! Which I am not interested in attending! So, we bid you good-bye and are sorry that you find us unfit to sit on your lousy grass.
