Awesome / NIMONA (2023)

• Basically the scene where Nimona's shapeshifting is first introduced. It's packed with awesomeness from the various transformations, to the way Nimona's able to blast through anybody in her way. It's especially the ending that can be the icing on top, with how the whole place explodes, while Nimona looks up with fiery eyes whispering 'Metal.'
• After Todd destroys the evidence and Ambrosius chooses the Director's word over Ballister's, Ballister finally snaps and tells Nimona to show 'em what she's made of. What follows is Nimona finally revealing her powers and her and Ballister holding off an entire swarm of knights on their own, with Nimona showing some truly creative uses for her less combat-ready forms (cat, otter, armadillo, flamingo) and Ballister beating dozens of other knights, including Ambrosisus, with one mechanical arm. Ambrosius wasn't kidding about him being the best in their class.
  Ballister: Let's break stuff.
  Nimona: Metal.
  • At one point Ballister uses an armadillo turned Nimona to hit a knight in the groin and uses said knight's shield to block from offensive attacks. Great teamwork and quick thinking, as seen here.
• After the knights finally managed to dogpile Ballister and Nimona runs right into an electric trap, Todd takes a moment to gloat about his victory. Then Nimona powers through the pain and busts out of the trap as the Kwispy Dragon, in a moment that's as funny as it is awesome.
  Nimona: Hope you brought milk! (breaths giant cereal pieces at the knights)
• Ballister and Nimona tricking the Director into confessing to her crimes. While she's later able to deflect it back on them, it was an excellent plan and the shock and anger on her face as she realizes she's been played is very satisfying.
  • In the scene immediately after the Director's confession, the real Ambrosius storms into her office, clearly ready to demand answers from her. While it doesn't happen due to the Director storming out of the room, that took balls for Ambrosius to choose to trust Ballister's word and begin questioning his ideals rather than blindly following the same path he's known his entire life.
• Nimona's Heroic Sacrifice, proving her worth once and for all by absorbing the Director's cannon fire and saving the whole kingdom. Better yet, she manages to survive it by turning into a Phoenix, reassembling herself From a Single Cell.
  Nimona: It's time to rewrite this story.
