• In 2020, during the tail end of the Coronavirus Pandemic, Nick Cave performed a solo concert in the Alexandra Palace at a time when rest of the music industry was crippled. Universally praised, this concert — officially called THE IDIOT PRAYER — was held to be one of the great achievements of Cave's career.
• The fact he got to meet and duet with one of his influences, Johnny Cash for his recording of Hank Williams "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" with the additional of Cave having done a cover of Cash's "The Singer" earlier in his career and Cash covered Cave's "The Mercy Seat" on one of his albums before that happened.
