Awesome / Napoleon (2023)

Go To

  • When Napoleon fires "a whiff of grapeshot" at the rioting Royalists, and the way the first few rows of rioters are blown apart and the rest flee in terror.
  • Napoleon's idea to take the ramparts of Toulon using small howitzers to bombard the top of said ramparts instead of standard cannons perfectly works out. Then the ramparts' cannons are turned against the British ships.
  • The battle of Austerlitz, where Napoleon utterly crushes his Austrian and Russian enemies, who helplessly sink in the lake when the ice is shattered (it didn't really happen that way, but Rule of Cool rules here). Powerfully set to "Austerlitz Kyrie".
  • The charge at Borodino/the Moskowa, set to the haunting "Russia".
  • Upon his return from Elba, Napoleon presents himself to the Fifth Regiment, not afraid of being shot at. He created this regiment and knew these men, and deep down they're still loyal to their Emperor and end up lowering their weapons and joining his side.
