Awesome / My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission

  • Near the mid-climax of the film, we get one of the best fights ever: Bakugo vs Helicopter. Bakugo wins.
  • When the trio make their assault on the Huma Rise headquarters, do they even bother to let Rody Soul land? Hell no, they jump out of a plane mid-flight and take the battle to the Huma Rise foot soldiers before they even hit the ground, using their respective landing strategies.
  • How Bakugo defeats the Serpenter twins? The kid grabs their blades with HIS HANDS, slams them into a cliff hard enough to shatter the rock, and then absolutely decimates them with a Howitzer Impact.
  • Then there's Todoroki defeating Leviathan. The monstrous man has brushed off every attack that Shoto has hit him with. While going over a waterfall, Shoto decides to pull out all of the stops, freezing him inside of the water, then using Flashfreeze Heatwave to blow him up. When that didn't work, he hits him head-on with Flashfire Fist: Jet Kindling.
  • The climax of the final battle can only be described this way: United. States. Of. World. SMASH!.
    • That's it? The sheer, mind-boggling awesomeness of that final fight cannot be understated! Remember when All Might fought the first Nomu? This fight homages it brilliantly, all whilst going Plus Ultra!
      • First, Deku's opponent proves to be formidable in his own right, having just the right Quirk to counter the awesome destructive power of One-For-All. Using Reflect, Flect Turn not only doesn't flinch most of the time he's hit by Deku, but he also sends the force back 100%, meaning Deku is continually getting hit by his own full-force Smashes. And he still keeps getting up and going back for more. Because that's what a hero does!
      • Deku continues to use his analytical mind to try and come up with solutions to the problem of Flect's quirk, such as firing shots from afar and maneuvering around him to try and find a weak spot. Pity the villain also has support gear and lasers to counter that. So Deku's forced to simply keep hitting him again, and again, and again. All the while Flect tries to chip away at Deku's resolve by going into full Evil Villain Monologue, explaining their organization's trap for the heroes and how humanity is doomed because of quirks. For Awesome on Deku's side, none of it puts so much of a dent in his resolve as he keeps getting up and hitting again. Even when half of his body is broken and he's bleeding out, Deku does not quit.
      • And then the battle starts to turn, as Flect finally begins to stagger, and realizes his quirk isn't as effective as before. Despite it all, Deku is starting to wear him down. By doing the same thing All Might did against the Nomu: realizing that there's an upper limit to the quirk in question, and hammering at it until it finally starts to crack.
      • Flect, terrified at the first possibility of loss in however many years, expresses his disbelief. And Deku sums up both his situation and Flect's warped philosophy with a single Armor-Piercing Response doubled with "The Reason You Suck" Speech: He gave up. He stopped trying to find his limits or overcome his difficulties and simply condemned himself and humanity to extinction rather than try. In just a few sentences, Deku does more damage to Flect Turn than a dozen Detroit Smashes, enraging him to the point that, unlike before (when he would simply stand and deflect Deku's attacks), he goes fully on the offensive, shouting for Deku to shut up.
      • And this culminates in Deku, empowered by One-for-All, growing to such intensely powerful levels of strength and speed that he seemingly hits Flect Turn right into his own damn reflective aura, causing the whole room to blow up.
      • And all this set to an epic medley of "You Say Run", just like the fight against the first Nomu. But better.
  • Despite being shot with a laser and bleeding out painfully, Rody manages to muster the strength to get to the Trigger Bomb control room and disarm them in the nick of time.
  • Let's not forget the other heroes (young, old, and new alike) fighting their hardest worldwide to locate and disarm as many trigger bombs as they can, knowing full well they could be seconds away from a painful death if they go off (since, naturally, all the heroes are quirked).
    • You can see at one point Mineta has been over-doing his quirk again, visibly bleeding from his forehead, and isn't slowing down in the slightest.
    • Hawks uses his feathers to pick up one bomb and send it out to sea, where it could explode harmlessly. If that wasn't awesome enough, a quirked member of Huma Rise with wings tries to stop it, but Dark Shadow is instantly there to stop him.
    • Gang Orca and some of his men are trying to locate the bombs with sonar, calling out their location to others heroes. And yet, they missed one, and if not for Earphone Jack, it might have gone unnoticed until it was too late.
    • Cementoss encasing one bomb in concrete so it'll detonate harmlessly, then immediately going for the next.
