• Ha-jin figures out Yeon-hwa's character within minutes of meeting her and refuses to put up with it.
  Ha-jin: I can tell right away. You're trying to look for a reason to pick on me in order to set me straight. That doesn't work on me.
• Ha-jin catches Wang Eun spying on Chae-ryung. So she orders him to apologise, and when he doesn't she fights him to make him apologise.
• Taejo threatens to arrest anyone who takes Ha-jin's side. Wang Mu, Wang So, Baek-ah and Wang Jeong join Ha-jin anyway. And when it rains Wang So shelters Ha-jin with his own cape.
