  • The Electric Warrior album. "Get It On (Bang a Gong)," "Jeepster," "Planet Queen," "Rip Off." Not much variety, but the album gets into a groove and never leaves it.
    • "Cosmic Dancer" stands out as one of just a couple songs on Electric Warrior that hint at the group's original psychedelic folk sound; it's beautiful, in part due to a string arrangement by Record Producer Tony Visconti and a trippy backwards guitar solo that appears near the end of the song.
  • Its follow-up, The Slider, is sometimes regarded as an Even Better Sequel. Despite not having a big hit single in the U.S., it wound up being the group's best selling album there. In the U.K., the singles "Telegram Sam" and "Metal Guru" both peaked at #1. Several publications have reviewed the album as T. Rex' best.
