• Jack and his fairy folk band defeating Darkness, by reflecting light off dozens of shining surfaces down to the bottom of Hell.
  • Hell, when Jack and Darkness first tussle, Darkness pins Jack to a wall. ("Well what have we here? A little boy?") Jack's response? Punch the Devil in the face.
• Lili manipulating the Lord of Darkness in order to save the unicorn.
• Just before his defeat, Darkness declares that Jack can never defeat him as long as there is evil. Say what you will of him, but he took death with ease.
