Awesome / Legacy of the Dragonborn

Go To

  • In general, you finally have a way of storing all those unique items you've found throughout your journey in Skyrim in one place and putting them on display.
  • The entirety of the quest "Shattered Legacy" - first you get a rather powerful swordnote , then you encounter someone who seems random that gives you what appears to be an insignificant shard of a gemstone. The quest that follows ultimately leads to the player not only reforging the shattered Amulet of Kings, but also finally meeting an emissary of Akatosh that isn't trying to kill them, as well as gaining access to an incredibly powerful suit of armor in the form of the Visage of the Dragonborn.
    • Best part of all? Not only can you make the Visage into whatever armor suits your playstylenote , but the enchantments it gives by default are hidden. Wanna make the Sword of Ancient Tongues have chaos enchantments, or have the robes boost your magicka regeneration? Go nuts!
  • Although not to the scale of Beyond Skyrim, the sequel mod Odyssey is finally tackling areas that haven't been depicted outside of procedurally generated levels in Arena and Daggerfall, with the Isle of Balfiera from Illiac Bay being the first location to get this treatment - and according to the mod's author, the map is at least the size of Solstheimnote .
