• Who can forget the dual crowner of awesome and heartwarming? Bianca's father appears and plans to force her back home with his Gurdurr, saying he doubts she would ever be a competent trainer. Then Elesa (AKA foxy lady who doesn't take your bullshit) comes and makes him back off and let go on her journey. He doesn't but before he can do a thing, all of Bianca's Pokemon come out and informs him how competent she really is by kicking his Gurdurr's ass. To top it off, Elesa takes the measure of ensuring Bianca's mother won't pay for what happened by immediately taking Bianca to report his abuse and getting them both help.
• "By the way, Skyla? Two Words. Electro Ball. It solidifies Andy's deserving of a spot in Nina's team by evolving into Galvantula and becoming the official electric type of her team to replace Jordan. And he still makes emote faces.
• From the Elite Four battles:
  • Rex taking on Caitlin's Pokemon and one-shotting all of them with Crunch.
  • Laila curb-stomping Marshal with a "+3 Petal Dance Sweep".
  "Shall we dance, boys?"
• During the battle with N, Laila oneshots N's Carracosta while Zach saves her from his Archeops (at the cost of one of his own eyes). Then, Klinklang shows up and looks ready to electrocute Zach to death...only for Jojo to leap in and knock out the Klinklang before giving an Offhand Backhand to N's Vanilluxe.
• During the initial part of the battle with Ghetsis, Nina's team is kicking butt. Rex takes out Ghetsis' Cofagrigus with no trouble, Laila annihilates his Seismitoad, Jojo makes short work of both Bouffalant and Bisharp and Rex manages to take down Eelektross. All seems well...until Hydreigon shows up...
• Ghetsis and his Hydreigon get a villainous one—when Rex manages to slice one of Hydreigon's heads clean off with Dragon Claw, Ghetsis just sneers and says "Is That the Best You Can Do?" Cue the Hydreigon's head growing back in true hydra fashion.
• Laila figures out Hydreigon's weakness and she, Nina and Zach (at that point, the only ones left) prepare a plan to fight back against him—Laila provides a distraction while Zach sneaks up from behind and chops off all three of the monster's heads, defeating him for good.
• The Shadow Triad betraying Ghetsis when he proves himself an unfit leader and (possibly) killing him for it.
