Awesome / Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

  • Noa's introduction is the first scene after Caesar's funeral where he and his two friends are climbing the derelict tower to reach an eagle's nest; to collect an egg as part of a Rite of Passage for their clan. When there are only three, the law stating they cannot take all the eggs, Noa chooses to climb to the "top nest" which is located at the top of the crumbling tower and retrieves an egg from there.
    • It should be pointed out that Noa's friend Anaya offered Noa could've taken the egg from the first nest and it was Noa who was steadfast in obeying the law that they not take all of the eggs, choosing the more dangerous path and not because of arrogance or stubbornness.
  • The final battle between Proximus and Noa. Proximus beats Noa and attempts to make him bow to Proximus before killing him. Then Noa begins chanting his father's songs to call his eagle to him, which is followed by the rest of Noa's clan chanting the song so that their eagles may attack Proximus. Noa's mother Dar then has her eagle deal the final blow, sending the tyrannical ape plummeting to his watery grave.
    • Noa's clever takedown of the much larger and stronger Sylva just a scene earlier is also very satisfying to watch - ducking and weaving between pipes and walkways clustered together in the bunker, Noa lures Sylva to what seems to be a dead end, goads him into charging...then leaps up through a tiny gap in the pipes, leaving Sylva stuck as the water rises around and subsumes him. Absolutely a well-deserved Cruel and Unusual Death for the gorilla who killed his father and Raka.
  • Mae, despite being slower and weaker than all the apes around her, is able to use her cunning and wit (as well as overall intelligence) to routinely wind up on top in almost every encounter and ends the movie as the only character who got exactly what she wanted (while orchestrating the downfall of a potential adversary in Proximus Caesar's kingdom through Noa). As a result of her actions, this marks the first film in the reboot franchise where humanity winds up in a better position than where they started.
    • When Mae's group is finally able to connect to the satellites and try to make contact with other survivors, within a few minutes they make contact with someone in Fort Wayne, Indiana, implying that even elsewhere, humans are starting to put their society back together.
