• One priest approaches Pompey, under the eyes of scores of hostile soldiers, and wordlessly implores him not to burn the Ten Commandments right after he has ruthlessly conquered the city and demonstrated he has little concern for their religious beliefs. Pompey grants his request.
• Barrabas dueling Lucius as they roll down a mountainside after the zealots try to attack Pilate.
• The battle in the streets of Jerusalem, for both the Romans and the zealots, as each side shows clever tactics and a great deal of personal bravery. A highlight is the Romans unveiling their enormous harpoon launchers and firing into the crowd, felling over a dozen rebels with each shot. Then, as their last Hope Spot, the rebels manage to destroy one of those weapons by hitting it with a battering ram.
