• Ray manages to put the fear of Death into a UBM that is essentially a mass of grudges and hate in Volume 2 by ripping off a portion of its undead flesh and eating it.
  “You scared?” the man asked.
  Indeed — Gouz-Maise was afraid. All as one, the consensus of the Gouz-Maise Gang — the group of scoundrels that had taken many lives and consumed great amounts of human flesh — feared the man before them.
  “Guess it’s the first time you’ve gotten eaten, huh,” the man said. This was the man who, as if to give it payback for its sins, had consumed Gouz-Maise’s flesh and drawn ever closer to end its deathless life.
  Naturally, the amalgam of undead was afraid of the way the man functioned.
  He was truly a God of Death.
  His hands — one blood crimson, other a deathly black — held a dark flag. On his head, there were wolf-like ears. He didn’t hesitate to consume the flesh of man-eaters. If he wasn’t the reaper sent himself to end them — no one was.
• The Franklin's game arc is full of awesome moments.
  • The beginning fight has Figaro beating Xunyu AFTER the former had one of his lungs taken out.
  • Ray defeats the RSK(Ray Starling Killer), a monster created by a superior specifically to kill him. The feat is so awesome that it acts as a Hope Bringer for the entire kingdom and earns Ray the nickname of Unbreakable
  • Shu gets no less than 3 separate moments:
    • One when he enters the fight against an army of monsters by kicking a T-Rex sized dragon into the stratosphere.
    • The second one is his stat reveal. Not only does his Strength stat easily surpass 100,000 (even top players struggled to surpass 10,000), but his rampage is made all the more impressive when it's revealed that his other stats are abysmal. Meaning he's slaughtering an army numbering in the thousands, but is also composed of monsters that are much faster than him and can kill him in a couple of hits at most.
    • His final one is when Franklin is remarking that as he's just one person, he can't hold all 56,000 monsters off and the town will still get overwhelmed. Cut to Baldr instantly obliterating the 10,000+ monsters currently deployed with artillery fire.
• How does Ray defeat Hugo with one arm broken and the other charred to the point of uselessness? He lets him cut it off in an attack, catch Nemesis between his teeth, and then stabbed it right into the cockpit before using Vengeance is Mine, resulting in an instant kill.
