As is the case with all pages detailing Moments of Awesome, Spoilers Off

  • It hasn't even been an hour since Izuku got the Omnitrix, and he uses his first transformation, Feedback, to defeat the Slime villain, someone who managed to escape All Might.
  • With his powers in addition to saving Uraraka, Izuku manages to place first in the U.A. Hero Course Entrance Exam, with Uraraka coming in second just 1 point behind him!
  • After all the bullying Bakugou inflicted on Midoriya, it's very satisfying when the latter uses Water Hazard to pound his tormentor to submission.
    • Same goes for Shoji who intervenes before Bakugo shoots Water Hazard in the back.
    • Then, Water Hazard and Shoji use a Fastball Special with the former propelling the latter with his water powers toward Kirishima.
  • To combat the Nomu, Midoriya unlocks Diamondhead. Unlike canon where All Might saves the day, it's Midoriya and his friends that save themselves from the thing.
    • Diamondhead is revealed to be immune to Shigaraki's Quirk, Decay.
    • While he didn't defeat the Nomu, All Might unleashes his butt-kicking powers against Nue.
  • Uraraka shows she's not willing to put up with Bakugou's attitude and smacks him in the gut when he starts with his "extras" insults on everyone.
  • Principal/Magister Nezu's plan to deter future invasions away is brilliant: Broadcasting across the entire universe live footage of the U.A Sports Festival where hundreds of heroes are present and showing off their abilities will be a big sign that Earth is not to be messed with.
  • Izuku's speech for his student pledge.
Izuku: Powerless. Useless. Weak. Those were all things people used to say to me. What hurt the most was when they said that I could never be a hero. But I’ve been given a chance and I’ve been working hard to not let this chance go to waste. And ever since, I’ve been through so much and so much has changed in my life, and every day I’m reminded of that. And now here I am ready to take on the next big challenge in my life. I’ve been made aware that many of you today are seeking to carve out your destinies. You want to defeat my classmates and I. (He eyes Class 1-B.) You want to become the very best there is. (His eyes drift toward his own class namely to Ochaco and Bakugou.) And you want to become heroes yourselves. (He scans for Shinso.) Well, if you want any of your dreams to come true then you better be willing to work for it. To fight for it! Someone said something today that I never expected; they said I was the most capable one out of Class 1-A. And I believe them. As of now, I stand at the top of all the other first-years! (He spins around and raises a hand to his competition.) So, if any of you want to succeed then I’m the one to beat today!!
  • Both Izuku and Uraraka demonstrate just how far they've come at the U.A. Sports Festival. Izuku uses Grey Matter's intellect to build a Cool Car and drives through the race while Uraraka unlocks more of One For All to power through the competition.
    • Then, Izuku tops her by latching onto her back after she demolishes his vehicle thus making them both winners of the race.
  • Team Midoriya trounces everyone at the calvary battle when Midoriya transforms into Terraspin to fly across the zone all the while Jiro and Tsuyu snatch everyone's headbands and Shinso guides the alien and later brainwash Bakugo.
  • Chapter 26:
    • Midoriya giving Endeavor an epic "The Reason You Suck" Speech.
Izuku: He may be your son, but he isn’t you.
      Endeavor: Excuse me?
Izuku: Sorry, I guess I wasn’t that clear. What I mean is that Todoroki isn’t a selfish pile of shit that’s out to satisfy his own personal ego. (The hero’s eyes burn with a newfound hatred.)You’re a sick, vile man with no real sense of justice. You only destroy all that you touch and for what? Fame? Money? Glory? Honestly, it’s sickening to think someone like you can even pass as a hero. (Izuku scowls, his emerald eyes staring daggers at the Hellfire Quirked man.) You are no hero.
    • Midoriya and Todoroki both engage in a battle of elements after the former unlocks Big Chill and Heatblast. There's even a moment in between after Midoriya times out where he fights hand-to-hand against Todoroki, who was being slowed down because of overusing his ice powers.
  • It was a close call but Uraraka succeeded in defeating Bakugou.
  • If you thought the previous matches were epic, then you have seen nothing when Uraraka goes up against Midoriya. That's right, the user of One For All and the wielder of the Omnitrix engage in a one-on-one clash. And Uraraka wins.
    • Of course, Midoriya (Diamondhead) puts up a really good fight such as firing projectiles, turning his appendages into weapons, and making traps that keep Uraraka on her toes.
  • Gang Orca shows that his status as Pro Hero isn't just for show when he No-Sell Water Hazard's attacks.
  • Chapter 32:
    • SixSix and Thirteen fight when the former is discovered invading the Japanese Plumber Base.
    • Izuku manages to single-handedly save a whole city from Clancy's attempt to use poison gas to kill the populace.
  • Uraraka and Gran Torino vs. Charmcaster and Hex in Chapter 33
  • The three-way fight between Stain, SixSix, and Izuku, Shouto, Ochaco, and Tenya in chapter 35.
    • Izuku fighting Quirkless against Stain when the Omnitrix times out. Even has the chance to bust out his new support equipment, the Omni-Shield, and even uses his hoverboard later in the fight.
    • SixSix gets one in being the first person to actually prevent Izuku from using the Omnitrix by encasing it in a sphere. By that same token, Izuku gets another for fighting him off Quirkless.
    • SixSix's alien biology no selling Stain's quirk.
    • The kids actually beat both SixSix and Stain.
  • In Chapter 36 Izuku publicly receives credit for defeating the Hero Killer since he did have permission from Gang Orca for combat.
  • Chapter 40:
    • Midoriya uses his newest alien, Wildmutt, to his team's full advantage in the dark forest training grounds.
    • Koji Koda is able to understand Wildmutt without the need for any translators thanks to his Anivoice Quirk.
  • Chapter 41: The reunion between Hisashi and Endeavor. Hisashi doesn't even flinch in the presence of the Number 2 Hero. It's even implied that Endeavor is hesitant to fight Cinder because even he's not sure he can win against his old friend.
  • Chapter 43/44: While it was terrifying, the sheer destruction left in the wake of Izuku's breakdown as Heatblast was also awe-inspiring, especially in that he owned All Might.
  • Chapter 47: Rath beating down Vulkanus.
  • Chapter 48: Izuku learns a new ability as Heatblast, the ability to absorb fire to strengthen himself. He uses this new ability to No-Sell Kraab's attacks and creates a Fire Tornado to defeat him.
  • Chapter 49: Izuku (as Wildvine) and Bakugou team up to take down Fun Gus.
  • Chapter 52: Just how the meeting between All for One and Vilgax was handled and went down.
  • Chapter 53: Jiro and Kamanari take down S.A.M. with the power of rock.
  • Chapter 54:
    • Cinder whips out his new support item, a spear that can light on fire, and spins it around like how Dark Maul does with his double-bladed lightsaber against Ragnarok.
    • Cinder and Endeavor double team against Ragnarok. Despite hating each other, the two work very well together.
  • Chapter 59: With him unable to use the Omnitrix, Izuku shows just how good a shot he is with his new S.A.G.E. Gun, pulling off impressive trick shots, and not even trying!
  • Chapter 60: In a flashback, it was revealed that Izuku and Henzu managed to take down the superpowered crime boss Tombstone.
  • Chapter 61:
    • Zombozo, of all people, returns with an upgrade in power and could have permanently ended Izuku, if not for Mina.
    • On that account Mina gets a moment of awesome for figuring out how Zombozo was tricking her, Izuku, and Hiashi and is able to turn the tables and start the dominos for Zombozo's defeat and arrest.
    • It's subtle but Zs'Skayr gets one by making an appearance at the end of the chapter and remaining hidden in contrast to Ben 10 where he was revealed when he first made his appearance.
  • Chapter 62: Izuku manages to unlock the Master Control function on the Omnitrix, and uses it to completely crush the I-Island timed challenge in 9 seconds flat, a new best on the whole island.
  • Chapter 64:
    • The reveal that Malware has been involved the entire time and the subsequent fight between him and Izuku.
    • All Might and Uraraka unite to fight Wolfram, while Hisashi and the kids hold their own over a squad of Daleks.
    • Malware successfully zeroes the Master Control sending Izuku into breakdown until Kraab was able to break him out of it.
    • After being locked out of I-Island's firewalls, Malware decided to just manually control the entire island itself, leading to Izuku as Upgrade and Kraab bringing the fight into cyberspace, which ultimately leads to...
    • An essentially Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann-style fight between a fused Malware-Wolfram and Upgrade created "DEKU EX-MACHINA,' which is piloted by Izuku, his friends, and All Might.
    • How about by this chapter, Izuku now actually has the full set of the original ten aliens from the Ben 10 Classic series.
  • Chapter 67:
    • Izuku's fights against the members of Class A and B. Specifically Diamondhead and Ghostfreak's battles.
  • Chapters 68-69:
    • Izuku, Ochaco, and Bakugou Vs the Wild Wild Pussycats. And it doesn’t disappoint.
    • They manage to pass the Trial of Survival by using Tiger-Bob’s own traps against him, as Bakugou and Ochaco play him into Rath’s hands.
    • They pass the Trial of Wits by outsmarting Ragdoll by using XLR8 as a decoy, while Ochaco and Bakugou move the cart into the air using Ochaco’s powers and Bakugou unleashes a point-blank Howitzer Impact to her gigantic cannon.
    • Izuku manages to use the newly unlocked Shocksquatch’s Spider-Sense and direction-sensing abilities to navigate Witch Mountain as Pixie-Bob uses her powers to shift the island’s terrain around.
  • Chapter 71:
    • The Deku vs. Muscular is just as awesome as it is in canon, if not more:
      • Deku fights Muscular using Wildmutt, putting up a good fight, clawing, and tearing off the latter's muscle fiber with its claws and teeth before being overpowered
      • Then with the Omnitrix timed out, Deku is still trying to fight Muscular, blinding him with dirt and even throwing a punch, before the villain breaks his left arm.
      • With his back against the wall, Deku unlocks Humungosaur and engages Muscular in an all-out brawl, all with a broken arm as he tries to protect Kota.
      • When it seems like it's the end for Deku, Kota pleads for Muscular to let him go, which lights a fire in Deku's soul, causing him to grow from his initial height of 12 feet to over 60 feet tall. He then gives Muscular a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown as he finishes the villain off by throwing a massive boulder in the sky and having it fall on his head like a meteor impacting the Earth, and says this line:
Deku: MURDERERS LIKE YOU... SHOULD ALL GO EXTINCT!
  • Chapter 78:
    • With Kraab's help, Ochaco manages to use the Null Void Projector to trap All For One in the dimensional prison after All Might sends him flying.
    • Vilgax's entrance was as awesome as it was terrifying:
      • To begin, he drops from the sky inside a red sphere, causing a massive impact that sends the heroes flying.
      • Then, the red sphere begins to roll around the battlefield, killing countless heroes by either stampeding over them or obliterating them with missiles.
      • Then when he finally steps out from the sphere, he kills three heroes in the blink of an eye:
      • He backhands the first one so hard they're torn in two.
      • Crushes the second with one hand.
      • And stomps on the third as they try to run away.
