The Wolf Man, while invulnerable and immortal, was almost stopped by a bear trap in the last movie. Now he is fighting with an almost full-powered and strong as 100 men Frankenstein's Monster, who is literally an One-Man Army.
Even if he is surpassed by the Monster in terms of sheer strength and durability, the Wolf Man still puts up a good fight thanks to his agility and manueverability, giving him a fighting chance and the Monster struggles to throw him around during the fight.
Frankenstein's Monster is terrifying here. He looks almost like a unnatural force when he awakened from the lab. Even the Wolf Man, at one point, gives a look to the Monster that says almost "Holy shit, this is not a puny human. He is strong".
Before the fight, both monsters are tied in the lab stretcher. The Wolf Man struggles to break his straps. Frankenstein's Monster? He breaks them with ease.
Lawrence Talbot getting the Monster to back off by firmly telling him to calm down. The most success anyone has ever had handling the creature.
