Awesome moments in Epithet Erased: Prison of Plastic.

  • Naven, despite being held hostage, doesn't give in to Lorelai's demands and even slaps her for her bad behaviour. When Lorelai makes Molly cry and nearly kills Rick, he becomes even more defiant. He's not even scared that Lorelai could kill him, revealing that he quickly figured out Lorelai's greatest fear: the voicing of which sends her into a panic attack.
  • The entire fight with Graham, which is structured like a climactic anime battle. Much of it is awesome... at least if you can look past the fact that they're fighting a dragon made of S'mores.
    • Giovanni carries Molly around so she can erase parts of Graham, but it's not enough. So he tells her the secret to doing more damage: Calling Your Attacks. Molly isn't sure at first, but figures that naming parts of her arsenal could help her be more attached to them, so it couldn't hurt to try. She comes up with the "Bear Paw" move, and Giovanni's advice works:
Molly's little arm cut down in front of her and slashed through space, distorting the entire oncoming tail and popping it like a balloon! Little marshmallow remnants flitted through the air like confetti, then glittered away into nothingness. Molly looked down at her hand, breathing hard. The visualized waveforms around her fingers had converged into big spiked mitts, just like a grizzly bear claw.
    • After telling everyone about how powerful Soulmate is throughout the book, but unable to back it up, Rick finally befriends the entire group. During the fight with Graham, he's able to use Molly's epithet to delete chunks of the monster while flying around with Giovanni's powers and using his Soulmate strings as giant Razor Floss.
    • Phoenica at one point notes that Giovanni is a gargoyle, Molly is a bear that can kill anything, and Rick is both.
  • Giovanni, after meeting Martin and sees how truly careless he is to Molly, calls him out and even throws a baseball at the back of his head. And by the end of their conversation, he declares he will steal the most valuable thing in the toy store, Molly. He holds that promise in the end, "kidnapping" Molly to rescue her from her life of neglect and bringing her to Crusher's place.
    Giovanni: "LATER, SUCKERS!"
