  • Kazuki's very first (unofficial) fight while piloting Hartzenen in the first episode, things where a bit shaky at first. But Hartzen eventually managed to pull off a spectacular Curb-Stomp Battle.
    • The first battle we see onscreen between Harzenen and an enemy robot. Kazuki even suffers an injury during the battle, revealing these battles are not simply in his imagination... and just how dangerous they can be.
  • Episode 3 "Illegal Guy", when Kazuki is forced to snap out of his Heroic BSoD to save Mitzuki. Even if she was just faking in order to give him something to snap him back to reality.
  • The obvious reference to Evangelion in the episode 6, "Intrigue". Mitzuki literally leaps into action at the docks, just like when Akane and her robot where first introduced.
  • Episode 7 "Hard Case", the moment when Kazuki and Hartzenen were caught by the "Original". And Kazuki went all bat-shit crazy on the thing, smashing it to pieces.
  • Episode 9 "Escape", Zinv/Jinbu's very first appearance. First the almost ominous sounds it makes as it slowly awakens. Coming to Kazuki's aid just as HIMC thoroughly trashes Hearzenen. Kazuki, in a catatonic state. Can sense the robot resting deep beneath EDF headquarters. He still manages to summon the robot to him. Zinv then appears, proceeding to easily dispatch and thoroughly destroy Rara's forces.
  • From episode 12 "Ardent Desire", Mitsuki slapping Ayuko in the face without hesitation. Something which catches Ayuko completely off guard. Noting that "her" Miysuki would never stand up to her in such a way.
    • Even when forced to accompany Ayuko on her shopping spree, Mitsuki remains a Defiant Captive.
  • In the second to last episode, ZINV/Jinbu/Genbu can create a controlled blackhole. Not to mention his Light Hawk Wings.
  • During the series finale ZINV/Jinbu/Genbu is revealed to be Kazuki's Alternate Universe counterpart. Turns out he must be sacrificed to seal the rift between the worlds. The best/worst part comes when we find out that he's okay with it. It's okay because he gets better later.
