  • The last Main Story battle of the base game, added in just to serve as a Final Boss Battle for the campaign: An exhausted, power-drained Goku mustering enough strength to dodge Kid Buu's blast and fight him back in such speeds that time around them comes to a halt - complete with a color-swap effect for their surroundings - just so he doesn't lose control of the nearly completed Super Spirit Bomb. This does not change the events or outcome of the original story in any way, but it does showcase how powerful and resilient Goku has become since the start of the Z series. As a bonus, "Cha-La Head-Cha-La" plays in the background for this fight.
  • The final battle of the "Trunks: The Warrior of Hope" DLC campaign has Trunks finally destroy the villainous Androids of his timeline. After dispatching 18, he sends 17 falling to the ground and charges up a city-flattening Masenko. As Trunks charges his attack, 17 looks up in disbelief as he sees a vision of Gohan about to destroy him, not unlike how he and 18 killed Gohan (while also echoing Gohan's famous Father-Son Kamehameha) Gohan's warning to the Androids has come to pass: even though the son of Goku is dead, someone stronger than him has taken up his torch!
  • Trunks one-ups himself in the post-game story where, after being reminded of Gohan's death when Dabura kills Kibito and mortally wounds the Supreme Kai, he ascends to Super Saiyan 2 and re-enters battle against Dabura and Babidi with a maxed-out Burst meter. Dabura's final attack is foiled when the Supreme Kai uses the last of his strength to hold him in place to allow Trunks to finish him and Babidi off once and for all while shouting, "Leave this world the hell alone!"
  • The final battle of the Goku's Next Journey DLC campaign finishes off the story with a one on one, no-holds barred clash between Goku and Vegeta, with the two being evenly matched even with Goku's access to Super Saiyan 3 while Vegeta only has Super Saiyan 2, with flashbacks to Goku's and Vegeta's other fights (specifically, to their first fight in the Saiyan Saga and the Majin Vegeta fight in the Buu Saga) midway through the battle, and the two eventually tiring out to the point of losing their transformations ending with one hell of a Call-Back to Goku and Vegeta's very first battle, with a Kamehameha vs Galick Gun clash, and for a moment, despite the absence of Kaioken, it seems Goku is going to win again, only for Vegeta to smirk, and switch to using the Final Flash mid beam struggle to push Goku's attack back, eventually resulting in the two beams causing a massive explosion, with the screen fading to white as it shows the two Saiyans smiling. To top it all off, the music for the battle is an absolute banger; being a remix of "WE GOTTA POWER".
