With a novel that is known as a battle opera, it is perhaps inevitable that it has quite a few moments that will make your jaw drop.
Common Route
- A small moment but it takes some serious stones for Ren to face down with the guillotine possessed Kasumi all while is arm his nearly severed lengthwise.
- Ren's fight with Spinne where he is able to see through Spinne's ruse and make short work out of him after he himself awakens to his relic.
- Shirou showing that, despite being a normal human, he is fully able to fight with someone such as Wilhelm despite the massive gap in power. It culminates with him planting a thermos full of liquid nitrogen on Wilhelm without the latter noticing, which is then used to freeze him before running him over with his bike. While all it did was shatter Wilhelm's clothes, the mere fact that he accomplished this much serves as a testament to the fact that he is not to be taken lightly.
Kasumi Route
- In the final battle, Shirou puts the badass in Badass Normal by being the sole individual to kill a Die Ewigkeit user with nothing but pure wits and guts.
Kei Route
- Ren using Beatrice's Thurd Walkure after losing his access to Marie's guillotine allowing him to have a new Briah, Eine Faust Scherzo. With his new Briah, he can permanently kill the living dead (i.e Reinhard's Legion). He uses said Briah to defeat Machina.
Marie Route
- One of the perhaps biggest standouts is the lead-up to the final battle in Marie's route. Reinhard now looking forward to facing Ren summons a stair leading up the the giant magical circle in the sky above Suwahara, beckoning him with just a small "Come". What follows is Ren dashing up the stairs at unbelievable speeds as they both take turns reciting their respective chants all while Einsatz
is blaring in the background. It all culminates in them summoning their Emanations simultaneously as they clash in a battle that will quite literally decide the future of the world.
