*** In a meta sense, parts of 98 can feel like this. [[spoiler:In both the comics and this series, Dark Specter has caused a truly ''immense'' amount of pain and trauma to the Phantom Ranger. But in episode 98? Database/Phantom reviews the episode with Dark Specter's seeming death ''to his face'', while also laying out that he's discovered the manipulations of the Grand Monarch of Evil and also seemingly refusing to take both him and Darkonda seriously. (In some ways, it almost feels less like Database reviewing the episode, and more like the Phantom Ranger getting back at Dark Specter for all the trauma he's put him through.)]]
