The Red Riding Hood Sisters
- Briar Rose appearing to save the day in the Moon Shrine, and then showing off her plant powers, just screams "awesome"!
Jack and the Sky Kingdom
- Jack's introduction. The detective is being menaced by Prince Leonard, she has no way to defend herself, and then... an axe flies in from out of nowhere, boomeranging back to the hand that threw it. Hello, sir!
- Later, Prince Hugh uses strange magic to give himself a creepy superpowered fist and is all set to destroy the detective where she stands. Suddenly he's dashed to the ground as Jack makes his triumphant return after falling off the beanstalk!
Ballad of Rapunzel
- Similarly to the second Jack example, Prince Ross gets dragged underwater by Belladonna's monstrosity. He's immortal, so he can survive this, but at the time it happens the detective isn't entirely sure about that. Later, in the old library, the golem catches up with her and is about to crush her, only to have Ross burst in with his flaming sword to save her.
- Later on, when gigantic carnivorous plants are menacing the detective, who should show up but Ross's sister, Snow White, who freezes the plant and shatters it into pieces!
Queen of Sands
- To continue the theme of people the detective has previously saved turning up and pulling a Big Damn Heroes when she most needs help, Rapunzel shows up to fight off the Nightmare Champion. Sure, it's not exactly made clear how she got there, but it's still really awesome!
