• The Opening Narration was nothing short of awesome:
  "It began with forging of the Great Gems. Two were given to the Dragons: Immortal, wisest and scaliest of all beings. They were promptly eaten. Four to the Diamond Dogs: Great miners and craftsmen of the mountain halls. And six...six gems were gifted to the race of of ponies...who above all else, desire power. For within these gems was bound the strength and will to govern each race. But they were all of them deceived, for another Gem was made. In the land of Equestria, in the fires of Mount Doom...the Dark Princess Luna forged in secret a master gem...to control all others. And into this gem she poured her cruelty, her malice...and all the powers of the night. One gem to rule them all. Gem turned her into a wicked mare of darkness, Nightmare Moon. One by one the free lands of Equestria fell into her eternal night. But there was one who resisted. Princess Celestia gathered the Six Pony Gems and using their combined power she defeated her younger sister and banished her permadently to the moon. Nightmare Moon. Enemy to the free ponies of Equestria was defeated. And something that should not have been forgotten were lost. History became legend, legend became myth. And for two and a half thousand years, Nightmare Moon faded from all knowledge."
