     In Somnis Veritas
  • Chapter 5 (Beyond): Masato duels Ryoji Kajiki, a well-known duelist at least twice his age and wins. In particular, Ryoji's last move is to summon The Legendary Fisherman III which cannot be destroyed by Spell or Trap cards. Masato responds by unleashing Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier who Banishes it instead. With Forbidden Dress combined, Trishula's ATK is the exact same amount as Ryoji's lifepoints. You can tell where this is going.
  • Chapter 6 (Sideways): Haruka vs Crow Hogan on D-Wheels and Haruka is getting her ass handed to her hard. Crow has Blackfeather Darkrage Dragon on the field, Haruka is down to 200 lifepoints and she's just learned that Crow has been dead for quite some time. What does she do? Using Desert Sunlight in her hand combined with Apprentice Piper, she summons World of Prophecy to destroy everything on the field and clear the way to victory. There's a reason why she's called "Princess of Prophecy".

    Alea Iacta Est
  • Chapter 1 (Nightmare Troubadour): Serena vs Marcus with the latter using Goosebumps based monsters. Most notably, Serena saves herself with a combination of Ceasefire and Emergency Provisions to offer Marcus's Beastly Game cardnote  to save her from Mountain Snow Demon's attack.
    • The end of the chapter reveals that it is a Flashback as she is about to fight off against Yusei Fudo with her brand new Nightmare deck. The chapter ends with her ready to face him down without fear:
    Serena: Duelist beware...you're in for a scare...(chuckles)
  • Chapter 2 (Marionettes, Inc.): Rebecca has to duel Freddy Fazbear and taunts Freddy to attack her after setting five cards facedown note  while stating:
  • Chapter 3 (A Little Princess): Millefeui defeats Midori by using Magic Cylinder to redirect Prediction Princess Tarotrei's attack. Bonus points in that Millefeui even notes this as a History Repeats since Midori lost to Haruka once this way.
  • Special 1 (Before the Storm): Haruka vs Yugo in a Turbo Action Duel, particularly Haruka going up against Yugo's Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon with a Limiter Removal and Gravity Blaster equipped F.A Motorhome Transport. Had it not been for Yugo obtaining a Miracle Action Card, she would have won as the Miracle Card dropped Yugo's lifepoints to a mere 50
Haruka: I've always wanted to say this. Now...I'mma firing my laser!
  • Chapter 4 (So Weird): Hikari takes on Seymour's Cryptid monsters in a dazzling debut with her Melodious monsters, finishing it off with Solar Ray.
  • Chapter 5 (Night at the Museum): Molly Hale goes off against Barbara (Dark Scorpions) using Dark World monsters. This is a five-year-old girl who is using the monstrous Affably Evil Fiends against a professional thief and she wins.

    Nobus Vivus Manes
  • The first duel of the story goes to Millefeui against Yuto. Despite being battered down by Yuto's Phantom Knights and her Madolche deck constantly making her play the same monsters over and over again, she eventually gets to the point that she uses Madolche Queen Tiaramisu's effect to shuffle Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon and Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon back to Yuto's Extra Deck and uses Cold Wave to prevent Yuto from playing his Trap Cards. The duel ends with her attacking directly with Queen Tiaramisu, Puddingcess and Puddingcessoeur.
    • If we have Millefeui's word to go by, she defeated JACK ATLAS at some point in In Somnis Veritas. Considering how Haruka was at a measly 200 lifepoints when she defeated Crow and had to resort to using World of Prophecy (aka the nuke in her deck as Serena points out), it'll be amazing to see when we get to that particular duel.
    • Serena doesn't back down when Yuya insults her dead brother, Satoshi. She does not give two shits who he is or who his father was. No one insults him.
Serena: You just made my list, pal! GO EAT WORMS!!
(cue a blast of shadow magic hitting Yuya in the stomach)
