  • The story goes that classical pianist Vladimir Horowitz, one of the top concert pianists in the world, worked for two months on his own arrangement of "Tea for Two" that he brought to his friend Tatum. In a scene straight out of Amadeus, Tatum listened to Horowitz's performance and then sat down and improvised his own version. Horowitz conceded defeat and never performed "Tea for Two" in public again.
