• Izumi standing back up after Tanaka "kills" her and defeating his IBM with her own.
• Sato may be completely irredeemable, but he pulls off a ton of crazy shit.
  • At the start of the series, tranquilizer guns are established as one of the only ways an ajin can be defeated. When going to rescue Kei, Sato completely turns the tactic on its head by cutting off his own limbs and killing himself on repeat to flush the drug out of his system.
  • Him hijacking a plane and crashing it into Grant Pharmaceutical before fighting off 50 SAT members in the first wave comes almost out of nowhere and, civilian death count aside, is pretty shocking for the sheer scale the guy is willing to go to.
  • During the second wave, Sato needs to sneak into a building that is heavily fortified from all angles. His solution? Cut off his hand and put it in a food delivery order before throwing the rest of his body into a woodchipper.
• Kei actually managing to get the drop on Tanaka and the others by clouding their vision with his IBM is a surprisingly clever use of such a simple powerset.
• Tosaki holding a press conference coming clean about everything the Japanese government has done to Ajin while actively bleeding to death.
• Kei finally managing to get the better of Sato through sheer luck.
