• Touma's high school winning the vote by a landslide to partake in Tokiwadai's Annual Clean-up by leaking out his identity during his speech as school representative. They managed to bypass Tokiwadai's name censorship by forcing Touma to read out a speech declaring that Tokiwadai's entire student body will be part of his personal harem and then setting Index upon him on stage. The resultant mayhem led to Touma crying out his signature catchphrase of despair. Also doubles as a Crowning Moment of Funny.
• Hanshiro Endo is the first esper not to be intimidated by a confrontation with the Tokiwadai Dorm Manager.
• Touma surviving an antimatter explosion at point blank range.
• Touma giving his future father-in-law a "Reason You Suck" Speech over using his fiancée as a pawn. Then when Kongou Mitsuko's father threatened to destroy him, Touma responded with a threat of his own.
