Such a peaceful world, it's Gauko, Gauko!
Dino Girl Gauko (恐竜少女ガウ子) is a 2019 children's comedy anime created and directed by Akira Shigino (Crayon Shin-chan, Osomatsukun). The anime is produced by Ascension Co., August Media Holdings, and Synergy88 Entertainment.
The series is about Naoko Watanabe, a typical tween girl, aside from the fact that she possesses strange and sometimes troubling powers. When her anger exceeds a maximum level, she turns into Gauko, the fire-breathing dinosaur girl.
The first season, consisting of 20 7-minute episodes, was released to Netflix as a Netflix original on November 22, 2019. A second season was released on March 20, 2020.

- Ambiguous Situation: The series also leaves somewhat ambiguous how much control Naoko has over Gauko, as the first episode starts with Naoko having a nightmare of turning into Gauko and destroying the city, she fears transforming throughout the first episode, some episodes depict Gauko as being rather feral when changing her size into a giant, and Naoko briefly talks about Gauko in third person in two episodes, yet most episodes appear to suggest Gauko is simply a transformed and angrier Naoko.
- Brainy Baby: Babu Lisa is a baby who is as smart as an average middle schooler.
- Dinosaurs Are Dragons: One of Gauko's abilities is a fiery breath weapon.
- Hulking Out: Naoko turns into Gauko whenever she gets mad. Heck! She dosen't have to be super mad, or even consciously angry, for the change to occur. Just being slightly mad is enough for Naoko to change.
- Our Werebeasts Are Different: Upon getting angry, Naoko turns into an anthropomorphic dinosaur named Gauko.
- Sizeshifter: Whenever Naoko transforms into Gauko she can either be as tall as her regular self or giant sized.
- Superpowered Evil Side: More like "Superpowered Id", but Gauko is this to Naoko. Whereas Naoko is rather shy and calm, Gauko is aggressive and ill-tempered.
