AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline: UltraSteel Ogre-Gear or Kyōkai Senki Kyokkō no Sōki is an OVA series that streamed on Bandai Channel's Youtube page with a total of six episodes. The first episode streamed online on April 10, 2023.
The OVA centers on Hinukan, another anti-occupation guerrilla force taking on the occupying countries in Japan. Chinen Ibuki is one the many fighters recruited. One day, Hinukan gets a veteran MAILeS pilot named Jin Misawa, who came to the group's aid as they face issues on dealing with NAC forces.

The anime contains examples of:
- Bittersweet Ending: The last episode has Jin Misawa killed in action against NAC troops. However, Chinen has survived and is seen going on another guerrilla operation.
- La Résistance: The OVA centers on another anti-occupation resistance group called Hinukan.
- More Dakka: Some of the armored vehicles Hinukan uses are equipped with autocannon machine guns aside from Jin's MAILes that has access to a Vulcan-type machine gun.
- Super Prototype: Jin has access to the XMM-01 Protogouyo, a MAILeS mech made with an attachment system that would make it easier for switching weapons in the field.
