* In Fall 2021, the ''Franchise/{{Naruto}}'' community was thrilled when they found out that the S.H.Figuarts Naruto line was announced to be returning in 2022 after a 4 year hiatus. The first figure they revealed was Naruto, which got fans excited, however a few days later they announced Sasuke and Sakura, which made fans even more excited. They were released in Summer 2022, and fans were thrilled by the figures, and commented on how the quality, accessories and articulation of the figures, and how they were much better than the original releases, and they made it onto many top 10 action figure lists that year. Even people who aren't fans of Naruto commented on how good the figures were. It got better, as figures of Kakashi, Jiraiya, Orochimaru, Madara, Obito and even the kid versions of Naruto and Sasuke were later announced or released, which made the Naruto fans even more happy.

*** DoubleSubversion: the vehicles brought back the giant, complicated ''BIONICLE'' sets with functions.

** 2010: ''BIONICLE Stars'' - Subverted. A commemorative line with Tahu, Takanuva the Rahkshi and a Piraka? The classic Hau mask re-released? '''YES!!!'''... Then, once images of the sets surfaced, the rejoicing fandom quickly turned into a BrokenBase, with one camp decrying the ''Stars'' as awful sets while the other camp considers their simplicity justified given the circumstances of their release. Not helping matters is that the toyline ended that year.

** Very quickly subverted again when ''The Journey to One'''s second batch of episodes came out. The surge of rejoicing upon the reveal of Makuta's new design and the Mask of Ultimate Power crashed when Lego announced the series' premature cancellation, along with the news that nor Makuta, nor his mask will be released.
** This doesn't just have to be about the story. The Rahkshi were the first sets to bring about one long-awaited trait: Bendable knees.
** Although opinions are divided on whether it's a decent set or not, the release of the 2003 Makuta set was a huge thing, because it was the first official toy representation of the BigBad. In a similar fashion, the 2009 Titan-sized Toa Mata Nui was praised for its size (fans have been clamoring for a large Mata Nui since forever) and for including an exclusive gold-colored Mask of Life, though as with the ''Stars'', a few fans consider it a badly designed toy.

** Blaze has been deconfirmed as a figure, and there's been no word yet that this troper could find on Mighty or Comic-based figures (unless you're talking about the figures packaged with a comic, but that's completely different). On a related note, it sucks that they had to cancel their old ''Franchise/MortalKombat'' lion before their exclusive badass Kintaro figure was released...Wait, they're making an MK9 line, now? ''Classic Cyborg figures?'' '''Confirmed Kintaro figure, this time?!''' Just give us a Motaro figure to complete the boss set, and I'm sold.

* At Comic-Con 2011, it was leaked that LEGO had re-issued the DC comics license, which was awesome by itself. One day later, it was officially announced that they in fact had one line of sets each for MARVEL AND DC COMICS! ComicBook/MarvelVsDc, Round Two!

* Jazwares is only going to make the main characters of SonicTheHedgehog, like usu- Blaze? Espio? ''Rouge?'' ''Jet?'' '''FUCKING MIGHTY?''' '''COMIC FIGURES!!''' {{Squee}}

** 2017 was a big one for Bionicle fans, as for the very first time, Nathan Furst released the Original Scores to the first 3 Bionicle movies for digital download. No dialogue or sound effects bleeding into the music, no awkward cuts or fades to that shorten the length of the songs. No. These were the real deal with every cue heard in the film as well as new bonus tracks. Huh. Why does my wallet feel so light?
