Luz Clawthorne

Adaptational Nice Guy and/or Girl in the LCU.

  • Raising a kid brings out Eda's softer side; granted, she usually only shows it to the residents of the Owl House, but she's still affectionate towards Luz in public.
  • Amity lacks a lot of her negative traits that made her so antagonistic to Luz, shows a lot more regret for hurting Willow by ending their friendship, even apologizing to Willow earlier than she does in canon, and decides to be an actual friend to Amelia, Cat, and Skara rather than stop hanging out with them altogether.
  • Mattholomule has to go through some Disproportionate Retribution, but a counseling session with Ms. Traveler and some encouragement from Bo results in him rejoining the Human Appreciation Society ans actually becoming friends with them, including Gus.
  • The Banshees as a whole started off as the same one-dimensional Girl Posse following Boscha's orders as per canon, but befriending the trio of Luz, Willow, and Gus led to them growing out of this.
    • Boscha is initially the only exception due to her Adaptational Villainy, but overtime she also grows nicer to the point that she befriends Luz, Amity, and even Willow.
  • Lilith has none of her worst moments occur, such as tricking Amity into cheating during her duel with Luz, trying to brand Luz while she was stuck in Eda's body, and trying to kill Luz in order to force Eda to exert her power.
  • Odalia, believe it or not. Initially, she starts out as controlling as she was in canon, but after learning of Amity's traumatic experiences, she begins putting her health and happiness first. She even allows her to date Luz, due to her protecting Amity. Zig-zagged when she tries to manipulate Luz later on, is revealed to be part of the reason Lilith cursed Eda and tries to forbid Amity from seeing the Clawthornes again when she tries to bring her home.
  • Belos. Word of God confirms that as a result of him growing up in the Isles in this version, he didn't develop the same prejudices as his canon counterpart. His relationship with Hunter here is also much healthier, though he's still not above lying to Hunter and taking advantage of his relationships with others. But when he realizes that he put too much pressure on Hunter and was too hasty in getting his nephew ready for the Day of Unity, Belos decides to take Hunter off the field and put him in therapy.
  • Witch Rick Sanchez is said to be a much nicer variant compared to his counterparts, most of whom are all huge jerks. Witch Morty confirms this as Witch Rick allows him to live his own life rather than forcibly dragging him into his adventures, Morty saying he's one of the lucky ones.
