After catching various Pokemon, including Lotus/Fomantis (F), Luna continues on ahead to find Lana waiting for her. Apparently, she wants to investigate some strange splashing water.

Cool, I guess.

After capturing Elodea/Wishiwashi (F), Luna continues on and finds herself battling more trainers. And Wishiwashi.

Eventually, it begins to rain, but Lana is more concerned about finding a strapping Swimmer in need of help.

The Water-type Captain is so thirsty...

She also mentions this area is the home of Kyogre and... yeah, I don't believe that for a minute.

Anyway, after a bit more battling, it becomes apparent that this is a trial. And, upon investigating the splashing, we find our Totem Pokemon: a very pissed off Wishiwashi.

Or, er... several very pissed off Wishiwashi forming a very huge Wishiwashi.

...Eep...

Okay, so Razor Leaf reduced it to half HP easily enough, but it has a Sitrus Berry and just restored itself to full HP. It's also calling in another Wishiwashi, but fortunately it's not a Totem one.

Another Razor Leaf damages both, but Totem Wishiwashi's defenses seem higher. Frustrating. It also used Soak to change Lotus' type to Water, so I won't get STAB.

Switching to Carrera, and it called in an Alomaloma.

Carrera uses Thunder Wave and I wish I had Special Attacks on it because Growl is weakening my physical hitters. Good.

...And Alomaloma just used Heal Pulse to restore Wishiwashi back to max HP...

And Carrera just fain-

AAAAHHH WHAT THE FUCK

WHY IS THIS THING SO STRONG

Okay.

Soprano managed to get things under control with Work Up and Disarming Voice to take out Alomalo-

>Alomaloma's Healer removed Wishiwashi's paralysis!

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME

Okay, fortunately, despite being in rain the damage done by Water Gun is not so bad on Soprano. A few more Work Ups and Disarming Voices drop it to the last quarter of HP, where it turns back to normal.

And now your ass is grass, and I am the lawnmower.

Well, that was some shit.

Oh right, these are Pokemon trained by Lana. No wonder they had such a good strategy.

Dammit, Lana, that wasn't cool.

And rain is only supposed to last five turns!

Lana proceeds to give me a Waterium Z, a Fishing Rod, and 10 Dive Balls.

Well, I guess that's a start for an apology.

She also says she caught a Red Gyarados once. LIAR!

Anyway, Luna accepts Lana's offer back to the Pokemon Center because that was still and never will be okay. Now we can heal up before bullying some Sudowoodo.
