TEG Chapter 7: On Stealing, Lying, Murder and Double Standards

Written By: Thomas
POV: Third person, then Jerry.

The author again denies being a troll, starting to sound like a broken record in the process.

Jerry gives another speech, with his lover Mary (whom he claims is still a virgin), in the "crown." Presumably, he means "crowd," but it's hard to tell.

Jerry says that Percy and his friends worship demons in hopes of defeating the Prayer Warriors, but they will fail against the "Best Borrow Church's" crusade for "freedom and library," and support of "gum". The real reason is because of the Prayer Warriors' Plot Armor and possession of the author's favor.

Jerry preaches "lawalty to hog," and denounces Zeus and Venus for being "mothers," and says worshipping those "beasts" is a sin.

Jerry also says that murder is a sin, and claims that Percy lies about fighting monsters while killing Christians. Jerry once again denies being a murderer (disregarding how he's personally killed at least three people at this point, some of whom were not fighting back), and says those who deny the law will go to hell.

Jerry says that stealing is a crime, even if the family is starving, and that children who steal must lose their hands, while lying about it will also cost them a hand. He also declares that since Satan lies, it is a sin, and lying must be punished by stoning.

Jerry concludes by praying for the unbelievers, who do not know what they're doing but will go to hell when they die (or if Jerry kills them before they get a chance to convert).

The chapter ends with Mary announcing her pregnancy, with the three words being the only significant story development in the several hundred words of this chapter.

Next Installment: Jerry believes he has found the identity of the traitor.
