The chapter begins with the Maus firing a few shots, one of which takes down the History Team despite Momo's attempt to warn them this time.
Yukari concedes that the Maus is, as Momo describes, "a half-wit with a hulking frame," but it's also "ridiculously powerful."
Miho's "Eureka!" Moment after Saori's "tank on top of a tank" comment folllows, with Yukari impressed, thinking of Miho as on par with the history team.
The Maus defeating strategy follows, with Yukari noting their need to immobilize the turret, and Momo asking Miho to hurry. The scene with the Panzer III and the Maus' crew are cut, removing some of the looks at the rank-and-file Black Forest tankers.
As in the anime, the Maus is defeated with three minutes to spare. Yukari wipes some sweat off her brow. The teams relocate to take positions, but Miho orders a halt upon noticing that the Hetzer has taken too much damage to continue, in spite of Saori and Yukari's belief that it could keep moving.
The scene with the student council follows, and Yukari declares that the fight has only just begun, even if Oarai's down to half its forces, and Black Forest still has a 10-tank advantage. Miho then puts "Operation Aimlessly" into effect, with the goal of isolating the Black Forest flag tank, and Yukari believes everything is at stake.
Naturally, Erika, while citing the same numbers as Miho, is significantly more confident in Black Forest's advantage than Miho is.
Duck Team gets off its last smoke screen while luring the enemy away, drawing four tanks away, while Rabbit Team lures away the Elefant. Meanwhile, Leopon Team is 15 minutes away from "Point HS", the site of the duel. It's a bit surprising how long these matches take sometimes.
Erika notes that the forces are being separated, and after Rabbit Team disables the Elefant, Erika is enraged, asking what they were doing. She bitterly notes that they're losing their better tanks, but Maho insists that they focus on the flag tank.
As the Jagdtiger engages Rabbit Team, Yukari is horrified to see that they're facing a tank with similar firepower to the Maus.
In rapid succession, Duck Team is taken out and Rabbit Team sacrifices themselves to defeat the Jagdtiger. Yukari's particularly impressed at how they took out the Jagdtiger in the process.
As Miho lures Maho's tank into the courtyard, Yukari thinks about the duel against Miho's sister. The penultimate chapter ends with Maho and Miho challenging each other.
Next Installment: Having sacrificed much for this opportunity, Miho must defeat her sister in a one-on-one confrontation.
