More Citadelling. ("Citadelling" is so a real word!)

Having returned to the Citadel, my first stop is the hospital. Thane is standing at the window and he seems kind of animated for a guy who's presumably kept on dying for six months, shadowboxing like that. Let's have a word with him...

Thane offers to guard Kaidan in case anybody tries to assassinate him. That's nice of him. Anyway, yeah, his disease is catching up with him and he has to get regular medical treatment (presumably more than Chakwas can give him). Let's try to make the galaxy a place where the living don't wind up envying Thane after he passes on.

Well, Kaidan looks like shit, but at least he's conscious. And I've given him the whiskey, which normally would have me wondering WTF my character was thinking, but since it'd been pointed out that it has medicinal properties, sure, why not? They need to invent booze like that, which gets you buzzed and is also good for you!

Kaidan says he doesn't know if he was wrong about Cerberus, but he was wrong about me. It's...looking like you were absolutely right about Cerberus, Alenko. Or at least the guy running it.

Huerta Memorial needs a couple of things I can get judging from the NPC chatter, and one of those things can be found at Grissom, which will be my next stop unless something really important sidetracks me. I'm a'comin', Jack, hang on!

In the embassy area there's the human ambassador trying to find out what happened to his MIA son, so Shepard's told him he'll see what he can learn.

Well, the big stupid jellyfish have apparently been indoctrinated and...KASUMI! Yes! I get to team up with Kasumi again! This is gonna be fun.

I got Gabby and Ken pardoned and back on board the Normandy with the press of a button. It's good to be a Spectre.

Oh, down in the docks there's a Shepard VI. The more I talk to it the more I wish I was able to actually install it in the second game.

That damn hanar almost gave his homeworld to the Reapers! I had seen a You Tube video of Shepard calling him a big stupid jellyfish here before, but I didn't realize that it's not a dialogue choice; any and all Shepards will call him a big stupid jellyfish.

The game really scared me to death when it looked like Kasumi had really died. I thought she had, even though I also thought it was strange she would cloak upon dying. And I was so relieved when she turned out to be playing possum. So now I've recruited Ms. Goto to the cause. Awesomeness.

This is interesting. I'm in the Presidium Commons talking to Avina, and the VI has never heard of a bar named Purgatory. I can get there just by using the elevator, of course, but I wonder how Aria managed to hide an establishment like that from Avina. Can't have been easy.

Laughing my ass off here—I just got that poor bastard the refund he had been trying to get for two and a half years, and guess how much it was? Fifteen whole credits!

There's EDI, and she wants my advice on Joker. He really is into her, isn't he? Oh, and when Shepard told EDI that in order for a relationship to work there had to be chemistry, I knew that EDI would take it literally. No, my AI friend, I am not suggesting that you drug Joker. Well, not unless he asks you to, at least.

Heading to Purgatory, and Aria says that the Illusive Man is now at the top of her shit list for stealing Omega from her, creating at least one point of overlap on our respective shit lists.

Blood Pack, Blue Suns, and Eclipse all working for Aria and me against the Reapers? Sure, can't possibly hurt, but need I remind you, Madam T'Loak, that the three of them working together were still unable to take down Garrus in the game before this? Unless we have some kind of enlargement ray we can use on them, I don't like their chances against the mechanosquids.

Ew, Aria just suggested I take Bailey to dinner or talk dirty to him or whatever works to get him to release the Eclipse leader from jail. And while I'm not what you would call entirely heterosexual....uh, Bailey? No thank you!

Heh:

SHEPARD: What's new with you?

ARIA: That supposed to be funny?

Yes Aria. Yes, it was. :D

Turians over near James talking about how morale is down and that it needs a boost if they're to hold Palaven. Guys, uh, I think Palaven's officially a loss. In an earlier conversation with Garrus that I didn't type anything about, when he described what was going on there, Shepard said that it wasn't war, it was slaughter. And not the good kind of slaughter that involves Reapers getting slaughtered, but the bad kind that involves them doing the slaughtering.

All right, so far I have talked to the current Eclipse leader and Blue Suns leader, and I do not care for the way both of them are gloating over how I'm supposedly Aria's bitch. I seem to be able to leave the Eclipse leader in jail while convincing her second-in-command to take over and get the organization to join me, which would probably make her kick herself for not being nicer to me. As for the Blue Suns guy, I don't know, but hopefully I'll be able to do something similar with him. Damn it game, Y U let me punch Khalisah but not this asshole?
