Part 5: The Ultimate Boon

When we last left off our heroes they-

FREE THE PEE!

Yeah. That.

Does it burn to pee?

Actually, I have some fridge logic here... HOW THE HELL IS JANICE MANAGING A FREAKING BATHROOM MONOPOLY WITHOUT THE ADULTS GETTING IN ON IT?! I know I mentioned this before, and I know Adults Are Useless is like, number 3 in the list of tropes you’re bound to find in a kids film, but you think the adults would notice something’s awry when what seems to be the only bathroom in their school is being occupied 24/7 by the female school bully. Maybe if they find one or two accidents or the kids take the Bullshit Man’s advice and do their business in the field, then they could notice that something isn’t right with the system.

Although, maybe I’m being a little too harsh and realistic on a kid’s film that’s only trying to teach kids the harsh reality of death... Wait... Anyways, the resistance lasts... five seconds at best, and that’s only because the leaders are all pussies. They should take some advice from Enjolras, that way those schoolgirls can wet themselves with blood instead. Back to home. And then back to school where the troll hunt begins!

All right! We’re back into fantasy! So anyways, the dog is revealed to be a troll hunter, and they go off to fight the troll. Aaaaaaaaaaand they beat it by tickling it... Well that was easy. Then they talk about attacking the real Janice. They decide the only logical warfare against her is through impersonation. Of an eighth grade boy, no less. So they spring the trap of having Janice think she’s getting some but in reality not, and make Janice just as miserable as her victims.

Hm... We need something to pad out the time until the inevitable... How about we get introduced to Mesogog? I mean, he’s now out of his house after writing up his newest plan to make everyone dinosaurs. Basically they are meant to serve as a foil for Jesse’s own parents. Whereas his father is a Western Gendo, and his mom... is there, Leslie’s parents are totally cool with her being adventurous and involve her in their activities. Also, she’s an only child so they’re not really run into the ground.

Come to think of it... Leslie is totally a foil to Jesse. Buuuut that’s enough analysis of Terabithia for one day, time to get painting. They enjoy it and Jesse’s happy, even going up to his parents and quotes Leslie’s father, which leads to his parents looking at each other and go “wtf is he doing with his life?”. After talking with Zooey, Leslie goes up to Jesse and goes “whoops! We fucked up in making Janice upset!” Really? She was holding a fucking bathroom monopoly and being a total dick to everyone you care about. At this point, I’m not exactly too upset that she’s upset. She had some karma comin’.

I now leave you guys with this song which sums up my feeling to this scene.

It may be odd, but given what I've read on it and having watched it several times thanks to an old video-store job, I can understand the hate.

@Robbie: Yeah, I know, though keep in mind that this was hatred from when I was a kid, and while the hate seemed to have died down (as you can tell from my constant giving of mercy points), there are some points where hate can be seen...

Though I don't want to say too much, since I have the rest of the parts already written and will be uploaded on their regular schedule (daily).
