Chapter 25: Dreams of Galad
Elayne understood Egwene’s message, and when they meet again Egwene asks her about Birgitte. Elayne just says she promised not to say anything, and Egwene lets it drop. After Elayne leaves, Moghedien tries to trap Egwene in a Lotus-Eater Machine, but she’s too strong and escapes back to the real world.
The use of Poor Communication Kills in this series can get irritating at times, but this one works because we get an actual reason for it, rather than just these people declining to explain things. And it’s great to see Moghedien again, as I was starting to wonder if she was being saved for another book. Speaking of, a mention of Perrin! Does this mean he’ll finally be showing up again?
